Tai Wynyard. Nice footwork NZL U19

In some cases, Cal's system is a double edged sword. It's hard to get playing time over guys Cal is tuning up for the NBA, but it is what it is. It will probably be the same for Wynward this year. I see a possible transfer in his future.
Man I hope he doesn't transfer. Cal needs players like him for the sake of continuity and to show the young guys good habits. He's not done much but I wouldn't write him off yet.

Harrelson was a complete afterthought until he was given an opportunity and ended up becoming a vital piece of that F4 team. An injury here or a recruiting miss there (I know, lol, not likely with Cal) and I could see him stepping into that kind of role. I hope he gains a huge amount of confidence from this tourney and comes back to Lexington ready to take on all comers.

I'll be shocked if Richards doesn't get two first half fouls in almost every game. There might be some minutes for Tai. Good that he's progressing.

One of Cals biggest faults, the 5 stars are given a long leash, the rest get one mistake

Maybe he has a chance to get some meaningful minutes this season,Cal's system doesn't lend itself to Wynyard's best skill set. There could be minutes to be had in the post position this year,Richards can't play all the time, hopefully Wynyard can give us productive minutes on a regular basis.
We are often surprised by what some of our guys can do for this very reason
