TJ is one of Cals biggest success stories, IMO. He came to UK having out athleted and out muscled everyone he'd ever played. He came in expecting to be a star and the man and for things to be as easy as they were in high school. He also had lapses of attention and a streak of attitude.
We all know the incidents, which were mostly minor. But by the end of his college career, he had changed into a hard worker who fought for position down low, rebounded, and scored when it was his chance. He was star in high school who learned how to be a teammate in college so that he could go on and be a teammate in the NBA.
While he started out on a real dumb note (don't kick homeless people, it's incredibly insulting towards another human being), and has had a few injuries, it seems like now he's on the right track, playing hard off the bench, and earning himself a spot that he'll keep for years.
