Garrison can’t play the 4 man. Not on a team that’s any good. Hell, I’m not sure he can play the 5 on a quality team.

Garrison will play the 4. That’s why Pope said he wanted him to shoot more 3’s next season.
Garrison is better suited for the 4 spot in Pope’s system. The PF scores off the ball on 3 point shots, cuts to the basket, and post ups.

I like Garrison better in the Carr role than the Williams role. He’s better off the ball than making decisions with the ball in the high post.
What skill does he possess that makes you think he can play the 4? Especially in Popes Zoom?

From what I saw he plays hard but he plays below the rim and just isn’t that great. I’d much rather get the dude from Alabama.

I’m just thinking out loud about Garrison and I like his potential.
And I am going to defend him this offseason.
So people can keep saying stuff like “if Gatrison starts, we are in trouble” all they want.
I think he will start and if we get this guy at the 5, then Garrison will start at the 4.
And even if Garrsion starts at the 5, he probably plays some 4. He has the skill to do so.

So, if Pope wants this guy and he doesn’t want Garrison to leave, then that means he plans to use them together.

I still really like Garrison’s potential…..at the 5. I’m not too excited about him at the 4 but I’m not Mark Pope. I feel like Lampkin is a backup plan if other options fall through but I might be wrong.
Pope should have had this wrapped up with Alvero. Too late, will be in the Ville. Pope is a complete failure. Why would this guy or Alvero want to come to UK. We suck. We are the worst SEC team in the history of the SEC. Pope is the worst coach. Pope should had this signed yesterday, even with him not being in the portal till today. UK cannot win in the portal.

After watching the film, he does not play out high like Pope likes. Pope could not coach him. He plays below the rim, UK fans deserves the next Shaq, not a guy that cannot get off the ground. If Pope signs him we will be the worst team ever. Him and Alvero could not play together as SEC bigs would kill UK. Pope should not have even reached out. Reaching out shows how weak we are. UK will never be good again, ever.
