With this bracket and our roster you should be able to sleepwalk to a S16. E8 is the absolute bare minimum w this draw. And then you get your first “elite” team to go to the final 4.
Reality is this should be 3 warmup , B game wins type games followed by 3 ‘need an A game’ games. Very manageable route.

NC state going to be hard. Texas am 2.0
NC State is legit. Do not sleep on them. Their bigs are a handful and they have one of those tiny ass point guards that no one can keep up with. They are trouble.
I'd like to think if we don't get out of the 1st weekend.. we can find some way to do a buyout and do a young coach on the cheap.

Stop with the bullsh*t..... its title game or GTFO....... 9 years without a 1 seed or a final four.......... we'd have 10 losses with our next loss..... cal refusing to start the best players and play the best lineup the most minutes.. never making adjustments , almost getting beat by UF at their place, then changing NOTHING and losing to them at home. by them playing the exact same way they played when they almost beat us the first time around....... getting beat by A&M and then next time we play them we change nothing and they beat us the exact same way...

Exactly he doesn’t need anymore rope if he doesn’t make the title game this year he needs to get out!!!!! Since 2019 to this point we have only 2 postseason wins that’s a fireable offense if he doesn’t at least get us to that title game in this NCAA tournament!!!!

2019-20 - Covid
2020-21 - 0 wins - missed postseason entirely
2021-22 - 0 wins - Peacock blocked
2022-23 - 1 win - Providence then out coached by Tang
2023-24 - ?
Idk what to expect man . When I expect us to struggle and lose we played great this year .

Anything can happen in these things. We take the 2011 run to the Final Four for granted, but they needed late Knight bucket to get past Princeton in the first round.
That Princeton team was much better than Oakland, but Oakland isn't far off from a team that gave us trouble at Rupp recently, Arkansas.

For me, it’s championship or bust for Cal. I realize it’s different for the administration and they probably won’t fire him but unless he wins a championship I’ll continue to be done with him.

At this point with this much baggage and this much talent. I feel like anything less than the elite 8 is just a pure dick punch, who cares, fire him yesterday.
Cal job is secure he can lose in the first round and no changes other than Cal might get a raise in his paycheck, Mitch or Cal is not going anywhere they are Ky as long as they want to be.
