Need tickets to sweet 16/Elite 8 games this year in Louisville. Never been there before.

Need advice. Can anyone hook up a lifelong CATS fan up??? What's the best way to get tickets? To both games on Thursday and the winners on Saturday.

Please help. Never been to a CATS game before. Hopefully its us playing!

I have stayed at the Galt House. Nice, really an older looking hotel inside. I went during Christmas Time in 2010 so they may have remodeled by now. Also, super nice resturant at the top of the hotel. it rotates 360 so you get a great view. Not kid friendly though, kinda upscale. At least that was my impression.

Go to the Applebee's parking lot. If you can't find tickets there, should be able to at least get hooked up with some sweet discount jerseys.

Wait for a bit. If UK does not play at Yum then there will be a ton of tickets at low prices.

Glad you are making the trip holy crap it will be a rager for sure don't forget to stock up on booze haha who am I kidding you know this it's going to be wicked awesome the galt house is like a hotel where you stay and there are beds that aren't yours and you pay someone for all of it your head might explode but WORTH IT bump

If UK plays, it will be a near impossible ticket.
If UK doesn't play, there will be plenty available.

Nobody is going to sell them now at any sort of discount or deal because of the first point listed above.

I actually purchased four tickets for the Louisville games and I'm going to sell them now. Face value is $1,005.00 for the four ticket books. That's all I need for them if someone from Cats Illustrated wants them. Also going to put them up for sale on StubHub and/or eBay within the next few days if nobody steps up and wants all four of them. Leave e-mail address if interested. Must pay via PayPal and add on cost to cover my fees through there - or meet me in Louisville and pay cash. Seats aren't great - but they are in the building. We went last year and it was great no matter where you sit. Tickets are in Section 322.

No UK = lots of tickets. If UK would happen to play there, my advice is to see who the other teams are that will be there and go to their ticket sales, on their athletic dept website. What I usually do is buy a couple of decent tickets and pay more, thru stubhub, and then find someone leaving the arena, who has just lost in the first session, and buy theirs, for the second game. If they have lost, they usually will not hang around for two days to see teams that they have no rooting interest in. You can buy those for face value and it evens out the excess for the first set of tickets.

Galt is very nice and upscale. Be glad you aren't going there in the fall, as that's when my fraternity took an annual trip there and really creates quite the ruckus.

Just remember to stay away from Porcini's Restaurant.
