I’ll watch any football documentary. Great for motivation and passing time on the treadmill. I thought it was good. It’s crazy how far Florida has fallen since the mid 2000s.
Hope you enjoy it, but I won't waste a second of my time watching a Gator public service announcement.
That’s the whole reason I wanted to see it too.
Ignoring Hernandez and some of their other scandals at the time reduces this to a well produced PR piece for Florida. No thank you.
I had no idea what this series was about. When I heard Swamp Kings I thought maybe it was a story about the Biden crime family.
I watched it and for the most part it was good. The football side of it was good, but not mentioning Hernandez while most of the country knew about it was ridiculous IMO. They did a small segment talking about the run ins with police and law breaking but left a lot to be desired. It was definitely a wild time at Florida.
I quit it about half way through the third episode. Netflix should be ashamed of themselves for putting that out.
It's a good episodes at onsest....but this is nothing close to a 30 for 30.
1. 30ish dudes on the 2008 Florida team were arrested during or after their time at Florida.
2. To mention Aaron Hernandez one time....was a joke. He's a central part of that team and one of most infamous criminal players in NFL history.
3. Hardly a mention of Cam Newton as a Gator?.....What a joke
This list could go on and on.
This was a Urban Meyer fluff piece
I assumed it was a take off of other backwoods reality shows with this one hunting gators in the swamps.
