Survivors of the UL board

I am having this discussion with the moderator over this. His response is heavily based on home boards. Because you guys are "visitors" trolling or off the court jargon is not permitted. But again, what makes THIS or THAT my homepage? You must profess your undying love for a team and hatred for the other team to post such jargon on either board?

It's pretty interesting and childish. I think any mature and responsible adult would recognize that not every person that lives in the mountains is an inbred redneck, and not every person that lives in a metropolitan area is a gangbanger or a violent rapist, and you can absolutely find all of those things anywhere you go in this state. No matter how disgusting or distasteful that may be, that's reality.
That board is pretty toxic filled though. This one has its tendencies to be fanatical and toxic at certain times, but I honestly can't remember going to any other place where there was more vitriol and hate localized into one small area.
I didn't say anything that was not true. I just said Louisville basketball had given a new meaning to the term "full ride". They banned me until 2020.
I was banned for taking up for Kentucky players. Basically they were insinuating back some years ago that many of the Kentucky players were too dumb to get thru school. My comment was ,no sportcaster ever said Kentucky had a team IQ of 21.
I'm still stunned that Bobby Knight said that comment. That took some large nuts to say that in a public setting.
Well I just got banned for stating a FACT. One that didn't violate any rules. Just stated why that sick moron zipp got banned here. Because he posted a sick picture of a CHILD. One that would have got his arse kicked in person or protective custody in jail haha. I guess the issue didn't need pushed unlike the women and him at the pool
It's a Rival network. It's a for profit entity driven by membership and clicks. I just don't get why there's such trigger happy banners over at the UL board when the board has less volume than a de-listed stock.

I got banned over there on that night. I Photoshopped a pic of Zipp with a big, black, ummmm...... stick in his mouth and posted it over there.

It's like that movie Truman with Jim Carey...those guys are living in a world of their own...if you go over there with reality, the Mods are like "Oh my God, somebody get him..hurry...our guys are going to find out Louisville isn't the greatest, they are going to find out UL really is little brother to UK..they are going to find out 99% of what we post here is fantasy...HURRY, STOP THEM!!!"

Hell, on the planet red hoops, they have banned every IP in my neighborhood, I have nothing left...the last time they got me was a few years back, and all I did was did a comparison of the two teams by position and gave my opinion on who I thought had the edge at each...I even gave them Harrell over Randle, and Mathiang over Cauley-Stein...then I called UK by 10 points.... that was the week of the game, right after UK won, I went back to tell them good game, I was banned. Chastity belts...
sad thing is, he is the owner of that site. post as he wishes or he has his minions ban you. That page is a ghost town.
It's crazy, but Beasley is right. Every Rivals site has owners or managers that get paid to run it. I forget how the pay structure works, but it's based on some type of performance grid. Unless of course, that has changed.
Until Rivals takes a look at the UL board operations and mods, depending on whether Rivals even cares, the UL board is not going to be about hoops or even sports, it's going to be about Zipp and his failure as a human to allow discussions and banter of many, not just the one's like JohnKBA who is basically that little dog that follows around Spike in the cartoons and tries to say only what Spike wants to hear.
No Steelers, I don't know who is in charge of the UL site or board. I don't know how Rivals has it set up today. They used to have people hired locally or whatever to run the site. Then those individuals would find mods to help police the site and keep the boards operating in a decent fashion. Mods could use their tools to delete, alter, or ban.
Today's operation could be different. But I do know this, Zipp does own you, and in some respect, he does actually own your board. Zipp idiocy and outright hatred of all things UK has now become synonymous with your UL Rivals board.

But make no mistake, Zipp is the poster fool for that board. Due to only a handful of active posters, Zipp does OWN (not in the contractual sense) that UL board and all the mods including Steelers.
My guess, only a guess, is that Zipp even dictates bans or comments getting deleted.
