Two ages of UK hoops coming together in one rare photo.

I get rival fans poo pooing it, because they have no idea what it feels like, but I don't get those rare UK fans who say things like "I really don't care if Cal gets a lot of guys to the league - college is all that matters". I mean, we all know Cal's success in college has been second to none -
but don't you get a thrill out of seeing half the world's best players coming from UK? And knowing that the next generation of stars after Cal retires will have only known an NBA where 1/3 of the All Star game was from UK? (again, by the time he's done this will likely be true)
Think about that. Michael Jordan boosted UNC's recruiting for decades after he and Dean left. Even Matt Doherty, their Gillispie, managed to recruit well.
So no, we won't be getting the top class every year necessarily, but kids will grow up thinking this is the norm and it can only help our next guy.
I'm glad that nearly all of our NBA cats seem to get along - Cal has done a fantastic job bringing back the older guys (including those he didn't coach).
That's crazy. Towns was 7 years old when Prince first entered the NBA.Two ages of UK hoops coming together in one rare photo.

Like Deon Sanders used to say when he was criticized for not coming up from his corner position to take on a huge running back... "That was a business decision."haha two great defenders can only give a poke. cousins is such a boss.

just talked about that the other day with someone. the 2010 statement he made is kind of coming true. actually weird it's so scary. i mean we still refer to wall as the guy who kicked it off with the swag, and he will always be that to UK. and he refers to that himself even today, and even though he's made it as an nba all-star slam dunk champ etc. something very special happened in '09-'10 and uk's destiny must have touched us all because we were all high.Terrific post jkwo! Cal is a visionary and what he meant by what he said at the 2010 draft is coming true. What will the people that say we don't get to know our players say about this?
it's like he's laughing at the thought of actually trying to lay that one up. nah better pass this one.Two ages of UK hoops coming together in one rare photo.

Does Rondo have an extra knuckle on each finger or something? His thumb is longer than my middle finger, and I'm taller than him.
