Hope you all (and your livers) survived the night. What a game.
>DOUBLE YAHTZEE! UK adds two defensive linemen to recruiting classes as 2015 gets Calvin Taylor and 2016 gets Kordell Looney, a DE and DT, respectively.
>Practice reports make it sound like both Barker and Towles are performing admirably. I see hints that Towles is the leader, though. It's not surprising given his natural ability and the fact that he's the one with more experience. If Dawson is able to help him stay collected in the pocket then it'll be fun watching Towles perform this year.
>Kemp is back. THANK YOU!
>Our receiving corps is laden with shifty guys and playmakers. This makes me so so happy. We just need everything to come together. I think it happens this year.
>Speaking of playmakers, Stoops really likes Edwards and West. I am so incredibly excited to see these guys perform this coming season. Our Secondary could soon become one of the top units in the SEC. This year we have Harmon, Stamps, West, Edwards, McClain, Randolph, and McWilson. Yes, thank you.
>Jacob Hyde playing at fullback a bit? Hand it off to him. By God, if a guy in the secondary wants to risk his shoulder and spine, then let them.
>The offensive guys are saying that the QB making the decisions and not looking to the sideline has increased the speed of play substantially. Excellent. One thing I did not like about the Brown era may have been forced by inexperience, but we really needed to stop looking at the sideline like helpless puppies. The coach is on the sideline and not under snap. He can't typically read eyes, little details, or give-aways. Love this new system.
>Dawson's offense will be able to pound it out the last few minutes of a close game and this pleases me. I'm sure it pleases Stoops as well.
>UK may finally have Tight Ends who are a threat downfield this year. We should all rejoice and sing praises to the work of Marrow.
Mashup Question: which unit would you rather see the most improvement from? The Seconary or Tight Ends? Why?
That's all I got for you guys. Hope you all have a great Sunday and coming week. Be sure to cheer on basketball and get outside. We finally have some nice weather!!!!
Go Big Blue!!!
