It is with a heavy heart that I mention that Woodford County High School lost a senior named Maddie Jackson. Having graduated only 2 years ahead of her, I have a lot of friends who loved Maddie and this is a crushing blow to all who knew her. I'd like to ask those on this board to send a prayer to her and her family. Thanks, all.

>UK finally broke ground on the new practice facility. I absolutely cannot wait for it to be finished. A nice new facility with more and more fan support as well as more wins will equate to recruiting like we've never seen before.

>2016 is starting out well. We're looking to add some big, quality linemen. I am ecstatic. Hopefully Jackson can be the ringleader that Barker and Hytche were.

>Speaking of 2016, the Twitter account is really letting the fans know which recruits to follow.

>I'm really liking this Buh hire, I think he's a good coach having been put in unfavorable situations. Even if that isn't the case, I will thoroughly enjoy watching recruiting with him around. The proclivity he has for recruiting should mean that we reap a ton of benefits between him, Stoops, and Marrow in Ohio, DC, S.Car., and Florida. West Coast, maybe???

>Shoutout to Coach Ansley for getting it done on the recruiting trail. One of the quietest recruiters but he gets the guys he needs. UK needs to keep him happy.

>Just think, you all, next year we will (hopefully) have access to Badet, Montgomery, Snodgrass, and the passing TE's Long and Conrad. Should be very fun indeed.

>I don't even know where to begin, but Lloyd Tubman... Jeez. I think UK should do whatever it can to get him back into the groove of things. The story always seemed iffy and changed, but I knew he was in deep ish regardless. I completely understand if he just wants to get away and transfer or whatever, but it's just unfortunate that anything happened at all regardless of who is to blame.

>Cobb is the man. My favorite to be the most outstanding Wide Receiver in the NFL next year. Should've won it this year.

Happy post-Valentine's Day. Hope you all bundle up. If we get half the snow that they are calling for then we're in for some real fun... Have a safe week.

I noticed in an earlier thread JR said Buh's terriority would include NJ. Can assume that'll include the area Josh Allen comes from. NJ was/has long been a Penn St stronghold.

Thanks for the post and a few positive things to talk about,I will be glad when spring practice gets here,we will have some on field stuff to talk about.I'm sure there will be daily reports on how players are doing.

The Buh hire seems to be a good move,he may be an upgrade that can help in more than one area

I have learned a lesson about verbals, they are not worth the paper they are written on

They are like a basketball OAD that averages 2.5 ppg.I will wait till they are here before I go to the trouble of getting excited about them.

The Tubman situation is much bigger than UK football, peoples lives were changed for the worse, one of those people happened to be on the football team.It is like I said in another thread. When things like this happen it is like Humpty-Dumpty,all the pieces of their lives don't quite fit back together the same.

I really think we have the ball in our possession next year, the schedule sets up for us about as well as it ever will in the SEC.8 total home games and several redshirts that fill our need pretty well. Here is our chance to get to a bowl and make a statement that"Hey college football world we have something going on doen here"

I too am looking forward to the WRs improving. The passing game was not stellar last yr......obviously. The reasons included a poor line and inconsistent QB play, but a good portion of the blame should land on the receiving corps. They were consistently out of position, ran poor routes, couldn't break jams, and dropped balls.

What is upsetting to me is that Student Code Committee or whatever it is called apparently expelled him from UK so he is not in school, first which means he is a recruitable athlete. Second he has no possibility of attending spring practice and his mom wants him to go elsewhere. His accuser was an ex-girlfriend who walked him out of the dorm. Later she accused him of rape. What, she didn't run screaming to the dorm security. No. Perhaps she thought he was going to be a part of her life again and then found out differently and was upset. I don't know. Perhaps it was as she said. Contrast FSU and us. FSU sits on it two years and finally the student code committee puts the case off until after football season at the request of his attorney and finally finds him innocent. The FSU accuser was a lot more believable with those circumstances than in Tubman's case. Did we provide him an attorney as FSU did? I'll be curious to see how UT's recent case turns out. TN usually drives the accuser away with threats. I don't understand why he was not allowed to remain in school pending due process as long as he avoided the accuser. Something tells me he will end up at UL and torment us for three years.
