>Per a thread in HOB, Harris isn't firm to Bama, but seeing as how I'm a poor college student and can't pay for a sub to actually look at the thread, take that info as you will. Highly doubt people would feel so good about him coming here after spurning us the first go around.

>UK sits pretty to add a ton of height and talent at receiver this signing day. Tavin Richardson- 6'3", Jabari Greenwood- 6'3", and potential flip A.D. Miller at 6'4" could bolster our smaller, quicker guys and give us some much needed options on the goal line or big downs.

>Shannon Dawson sighting!!!

>Sad week for fans hoping to see the Wildcats and their new edition of a pass heavy spread this spring. UK has officially stated that there will be no spring game for the blue and white due to CWS ongoing remodeling.

>Big Z got the defensive MVP in the shrine game. Congrats, big fella.

>Try finding a reputable draft where Bud strays from the first round.

>Word around the grapevine is that UK could be in the mix for some big time flips before or on signing day. I'm not going to say I know for sure, but there are a ton of rumblings that ish may be going down. Running backs, linemen, linebackers, defensive backs.... Lots of rumors but the old game of which ones are true continues.

Go Big Blue!

There is no credible evidence of Harris not happy.

Thanks for the updates and I appreciate them, but don't come back until you have a yahtzee for us, you have a full week, get busy. Some pretty encouraging items though, I agree, but I don't think Harris comes here even if he changes his mind, he's afraid of Boom.

Also we have had our share of "densive" backs in the past, now we are getting defensive ones.

Keep up the good work, don't pay attention to me, there's always a nitpicker in the crowd.

Love the mashup. That thread on the HOB though had little to no credibility. JMO.

'Preciate the comments, guys. Jauk, Densive backs are the hybrid position that Minter had. Just forgot to give an F and some E, that's all...

LOL, good comeback.

Harris moved up from 6th to 5th on Bama's depth chart over the weekend, Tenpenny left the Bama program. So that class they signed 4 4* backs, 2 are now off the roster, Kiffin is looking to get back to the NFL. Bama has lost 2 defensive assistants since the playoff loss. Granted one for a DC job, but the other for a lateral move to AU. Of course Bama fans are going to explain this away as they were dead weight and the cause of their loss, but both are very good recruiters and neither coached the secondary, the weak link of Bama's defense this year.

Didn't know that. Interesting if true. I haven't researched into the Bama coaches at all.

Saw too over the weekend where UK's offered a 6'6" WR from an Alabama JUCO by way of Ohio named Ross. He's apparently a freshman with 4 to play 3.

Steele is the new DC at LSU, Lance Thompson is at AU, not sure what he is coaching, Kiffin is looking into moving back to the NFL. Bama's defense looked pretty average in the Iron bowl against AU and the playoff. Rumor is Smart and Steele got into an altercation and had to be separated. Kirby has always been pretty mouthy, but back in his college days it was the linemen that saved his butt, Bobo's too for that matter, so I guess that is possible. All of Bama's coaches are excellent recruiters, but hopefully having to replace 2, maybe 3 this year will have an effect on them and bring them back to the rest of us. They weren't as far ahead this past year as many want to believe. But if Kiffin leaves for the NFL, that 5*qb commit of theirs might have second thoughts, even this late in the process. I don't think Saban liked Kiffin's style anyway.

Honestly, I thought the SEC was weak this year. Very weak, actually. Had no idea how good or bad Bama was because of the discrepancy in conference strength from last year to this one.

I actually saw the same thing being mentioned a day earlier...so I think the report has a little credibility...the thing missing though, is that if he did stray from Bama I wouldn't be so sure that it would be UK as the next destination...

Yeah I had posted here a couple times I thought the west was vastly overrated, that Bama was just a little better than the others. But obviously not so much that on an off day they couldn't be beat by a conference member. Don't think it is going to be much better next year either. Lots of new qbs will be starting and the returners haven't really proven anything other than being consistently inconsistent. Wouldn't be surprised if SEC champ doesn't have at least 2 losses, maybe 3, and shut out of the playoffs.
