He is trying to graduate with enough summer coursework so he can play next season.
I don't see him making them any better. He's not nearly as talented as any of their other guards or SFs.

Maryland will be really good next year. They have a ton of players.

I know that, but they are not as good as UK was my point, but yet some on this board think our team isn't very good. Fans tend to over analyze and tear down the team they root for and overrated other teams.
Suilamon will give Duke 25 out of spite. That will definitely be an interesting match-up to watch.
Since he has acknowledged that he had issues with playing time and/or not-starting, then how does that get fixed by going to a team with plenty of players already in Maryland? maybe Turgeon promised him the world, who knows.

That wasn't the first one.
Coach K has kicked off one player his entire career...and it was Sulaimon in the middle of a title run.

It was the first one. You are making a lot of assumptions here.
A program like Maryland is allowed to give the guy a second chance because even though they're a good program no one in the media cares enough about them to get up in arms about it. UK cannot afford to take on a player even with just allegations around them because of how unfair the media is towards our program, our coach, and our players. Even the smallest infraction here gets blown up to gigantic proportions, so could you imagine what would be written if we took a chance on Sulaimon and an incident happened here or something more concrete from his past came out?
All we'll hear is "you should've known this would happen, how could you not know this would happen, it's all about winning by any means for dirty Cal and Kentucky character need not apply, MERCENARIES, etc." Meanwhile if something were to go down at Maryland... "Meh, it's Maryland."
They have a likely 1st team all-American in Tremble.Solid frontcourt players in Layman and Nickens.The transfer Carter is going to help them on the inside and then add Diamond Stone to the mix and they are solid.Sulaimon gives them another shooting weapon to go with Tremble.They are going to be a threat.We have a good team.I think we are top 10 although I also think that CBS and ESPN have us way over ranked at present.We can make noise come March but we won't be alone with making some noise either.It's going to be a wild ride with as many as 12-15 teams with a legit shot at winning the National Title.
Why are you so defensive? Nobody said anything about him being picked on or about being a sweet kid. I bet you watch alot of Nancy Grace, don't you? She is constantly screaming someone is guilty before they are even questioned. Funny how you condemn the kid when you know absolutely ZERO about him or his past. Here we go again, not giving other teams credit for being good or getting better. Maryland can definitely beat UK with our current roster. Doesn't mean they will, but they can. They have some good ball players with experience.

Maryland was going to be good without him. I wouldn't have taken a chance simply because would he disrupt the chemistry? It will be interesting to watch next year.
Maryland is on a list of teams who should be very good this socking season. It will be interesting to see how good Stone can be and what this guy can give them. He had some good games at duke. IMO on paper UNC, UK, and maybe Duke has the most talent. Several freshman and transfer will play major roles for a lot of teams.

Maryland is turning into the new uCON. Terps look like they will take anyone they can.

Ha, yeah that's my point. Biggest know-nothing fans. They had no idea that Maryland isn't even in the ACC anymore. Might be a premier program, but it's certainly not a premier fan base.
There were people on this board that said the same thing. Granted it's not related to the SEC.
Even if Sulaimon is at Maryland and if they have a good or even great season I think they would falter in the tournament.
