Student Tickets?

Did you know BEFORE purchasing that these were student tickets? I ask because if someone is selling student tix on StubHub it is mandatory that they disclose that in the remarks.
If they are good lower level student seats you could buy the cheapest upper level tickets you can find and get in with those and then once inside go to the lower level seats. They only check for student ID at entrance not when you enter your section.
I knew what they were, just didn't think of it being a problem til after the fact! They aren't lower sec either, they were the cheapest thing on stub hub, still not that cheap. I guess I blew some $$$ on them if they in fact do ask for ID at the gate!
They will definitely ask for an ID. You can only enter through one section with Student Tickets and ID is checked for everyone entering through that section.
If you contact stubhub you'll get your money back most likely. And if you contact UK, give them the ticket barcode and they may kick that student out of the lottery if you're so inclined.
The OP said that he knew before beforehand that he was buying student tickets - i.e. the StubHub seller obviously put it in the listing comments - so I highly doubt that they would refund the buyer's money. On the other hand if the seller had failed to reveal that they were student tix then StubHub would definitely refund the buyer's money (or replace them with non-student tickets in a similar or better seating location).
EKCAT4YRS - I might be able to help. I think I know 2 UK students who were going to the game with Section 221, Row O tickets - so I'd guess about half way up the upper level. I might be able to talk them into swapping with you and sitting in the student seats if you are OK with Section 221. Let me know.
