Stoops should resign today.

Why would you think we have an NIL advantage over most SEC and other top schools in football?

Also, what "other things"? Proximity to Keeneland? Bourbon prices?
Didn’t say we had a advantage, I think it shouldn’t be as bad as it is now, and Kentucky should be able to get it to where they are competitive

Vandy has become the new UK. Lose to Vandy, especially at Home. YOU"RE FIRED!! 😁🤪

Apparently you know nothing about football either.
I know, for whatever reason, you have an axe to grinds against Stoops. Every thread about him you come running to bash him. Over the last 10 or so years he has built up a tremendous amount of goodwill. He is not getting fired, and only resigning if he gets a better job. Your personal vendetta against him mean nothing.

Let this sink in Vanderbilt was dead last in the SEC coming into the game on defense! We couldn’t get crap it seemed does blame go to Scrang sure it does but 10 years in and 6 offensive coordinators later it still remains as one common denominator!
Exactly! To be clear, there needs to be a for sale sign in front of Scrang’s house as well, but he’s not the reason we’ve gotten embarrassed by Tennessee year in/year out. He’s not the reason we’ve never won our division. And even if he was, Stoops is why he’s here, so……

With all due respect, built up tremendous good will for what, exactly? Two seasons ago, Tennessee literally lost more games in a season than they ever had in the history of the program. FL has had what, three head coaches since Stoops has been here? South Carolina and Bandy have also been spiraling. And we STILL finished no higher than second in our own division. So I understand if you like Stoops, but what has he accomplished that literally dozens of other schools have not also accomplished?

I can say what I want about him. It’s a message board. I don’t care for him and his coaching style. He is not a good motivator or coach. He has reached his plateau as to what he can do here. He is a stubborn coach that won’t get with the times and makes terrible hires. If you like him Ed, that is your choice. I want more for our program and I don’t think he can provide it. There u have it.

To be fair those other dozen coaches aren’t doing it at Kentucky.

Barnhart doesn’t have the balls to fire a janitor. He gets credit for giving Stoops time to build the program. I laugh everytime I hear that said. If it was entirely up to Mitch Joker and Billy G would still be here.

Yeah it’s a tough thing for me with stoops in that he’s done what others havent here but hes been given a budget and facilities to utilize that nobody has had here either. He definitely gets credit for building something but getting b to c is different from a to b and frankly don’t know if he’s the guy that can. Tubby smith was that way. He could overachieve with lesser talent better than he could produce with the best talent after he worked his way through to coaching and developing his own players

True. They are doing it at schools with half the tv money, exposure, or recruiting advantages. Kentucky is not the graveyard you guys remember. The sport has changed dramatically.
Who the hell has less recruiting advantages than Kentucky? Who are these other schools you speak of?

We were awful. You still don’t fire stoops clearly. But if he wants to can someone I get it. Our losses have been humiliating
Good points but what I can't understand is after being ranked in the Top 10 earlier this season, how could this possibly be the same team? How on earth could those polls have been so damn wrong? It's all kind of embarrassing in retrospect ... but hey, that's Kentucky football.

Polls are week to week. Just win and they have no choice but to move you up. The pollsters aren’t watching game film. They just get the scores and out very little time into it.

once levis was projected as a top 5 pick Kentucky got major consideration. The schedule was favorable early as well. Then we stepped on our tail at ole miss and Levis got hurt. Then he got hurt over and over. The wheels started to fall off and the schedule got harder. You’re right it’s embarrassing. I had said about a month ago that the next step forward for UK as a program is starting the season ranked, staying ranked and finishing the season ranked. We still aren’t ready to take that step.

Let's not overreact! Stoops is still the best coach we have ever had.
Maybe in the modern era.

But even if that’s true, the full statement would not be “the best coach in a long line of great coaches.” I would argue that Brooks was a better X’s and O’s guy, he just couldn’t recruit at Stoops level, but that is part of it.

I’d say it’s more accurate that Stoops has been the best of a bunch mediocre coaching hires but has benefited from a weak East, a 12th game and an administration that has given the most support to the football program maybe ever.

All I know is, far more often than not, when I watch a UK game, I see a poorly prepared, undisciplined team. You can still have lesser talent than your opponent and look like you have a plan and can execute it. I’m sorry, but this idea Stoops is "the best we can do”, if that is your belief, I don’t agree with it.

I said something to the effect of " we have a vacuum of leadership with on the sidelines and on the field " about 4-5 games ago ( after So Car I think ). and I was correct .. Major systems failure by all involved but the OC has to be fired within 24 hours of this miserable season ending . OL coach as well. I personally am ready to move on from Stoops , he's done very well here , but its time to go .

Yours might be the dumbest post. Are u even a uk fan or are u trolling?
Lol. I have been a UK fan long enough to remember just before stoops was hired we lost 3 in a row and 4 out of 5 games. I have been in commonwealth when there was less than 10k fans there, I have seen a ton of bad football that looks a whole lot worse than what I saw yesterday. Am I happy with this season? Nope, but to want a guy that has built up the program to even be considered as a threat to Georgia within a 10 year period, and from the depths of where we were when he walked in, is pretty remarkable. He is the winningest coach in our programs history and did it in basically 8 years given he spent two giving wins away just to redshirt kids. And I guess the other question is who are you going to hire? Lane Kiffen? Huepel? Take a chance on a young guy that very well may come in and then leave when another school calls? Nah, I will take my chances with stoops.

Did you want any changes or firings ? or you happy enough to be where we are ? Honestly you think next year looks any beer IF we dont change the OC? How can you be so content ? Another 9-10 year win with Lynn Bowden and an 100% run offense isnt happening .
