This just shows the disconnect between UK athletic department and the conference brethren. If they realized how close Joker was to getting one more year then they would realize Stoops, barring an epic collapse, won't be close to the unemployment line this year. After all, our athletic director knows how to manage sports in a microwave society.

Mark Stoops isn't on any kind of hot seat. Being this is year three, I'm sure he's feeling a little more pressure to be better, but he could go 0-12 and get a 4th season.

As for how many games UK will win, the safe guesses are probably 5-7 and 6-6. What's the "key" to winning more? Making winning plays at winning time. Last fall, Kentucky dropped INT's at Florida and Louisville at *winning time*. You can't give game changing plays away in one score games late in the 4th quarter and expect to survive.

All long time UK fans have endured plays like those for years. Sure, every team has the same thing happen, it just seems to happen to us more often (LOL).

UK should be a lot better offensively. The defense is what it is, which is probably a 12-14 SEC unit. I think the schedule breaks down nicely, but I'm not sure UK has a good enough defense to take advantage.

I am worried about you. So much so, that I think your last UK game should be the last one you watched. For your health, I think you should turn to your other team. We all just want you to be well, because you are already unable to remember the USC game from last year. That would scare me if my memories of UK games just focused on the bad and the UL games. Get out now! Please.

It will cost him a whole hell of alot, especially credibility. Look at last year, the recruiting class was garbage comparable to the previous two years. Another losing season will destroy recruiting. How do you expect any coach to build a program if they don't keep bringing in good or great recruits. Stoops must win now for the long term, he has to have credibility for recruits to buy what he is selling. Anyone who believes any different is just plain lying to themselves.

I will go away form the alleged pundits and say that the 15 class was DEFINITELY NOT GARBAGE - Freddie Maggard and J Lo both reiterated the fact that this class may become the best as it won't have to produce early and be given time to learn - the class is longer and more athletic (and length is where the staff figured out where they needed to get better on the outsides).

So no not even close to garbage - maybe not awesome based on stars but Maggard / J Lo and many others agreed that the staff filled pressing needs and got better.

Yes another losing season could hurt our recruiting as I said - BUT I do not believe that to be happening and I expect this team to surprise like 07-08 team that surprised and finished 3-5 in SEC and won against a depleted FSU team

Our athletic director should have been fired with Joker when he tried to lecture the fan base for not supporting his friend, maybe it should have been when he let Rich Brooks retire because he refused to do the improvements to the facilities that were promised, better yet after the whole Gillespie fiasco when Cal has said he wanted the job. Who exactly has he hired both Cal and Stoops were brought to him by UK allum and boosters and they had to drag him to the table to negotiate with Cal. If he had concentrated on football the way he has on a track team then maybe we would have won more than 7 game in 2 years. I wish people were as hot to hire him away from UK as I have a feeling that their gonna be to hire Stoops in a couple years.
