Stoops can’t coach

This isn’t on Stoops, it’s on the OC. Yes, it’s Stiops fault. But he is allowed to make a bad hire.

When we should blame Stoops is if he keeps this guy around next year

I'd also like to nominate not having a ST coordinator, horrible O-Line coaching hire this year and head scratching decision to run with Scang as OC.

This is on Stoops. He coaches this brand of football. Ball control, defense, low scoring and don't get the doors blown off. The problem is, the margin for error is horrendously small with that gameplan and, guess what, he is coaching in the SEC.

Stoops and Cal are a lot alike.

Offensive coordinator was hired by?

Declining a penalty bc you're scared of 3rd and 33 so you concede a field goal was done by who?

Accepting a penalty the next game that takes 4th down away and they almost convert was done by who?

Never being sharp or motivated after a bye week is done by who?

Allowing one loss to snowball into either a close win or a loss to a team not on level is done by who?

Being in press man coverage on 4th and long...

Never blitzing..

having players looking to sideline for the play when other teams already snapping thr ball on crucial 3rd or 4th downs...

It's time for people to realize Sstoops simply isn't a good football coach.

Coaches are only as good as their assistants. Of course they are the ones who hire them. Nevertheless Ky assistants are all getting failing marks in 2022

Nice guy, but he just can’t coach. His teams make way too many stupid mistakes at critical times. That’s coaching. When Vandy beats you, it’s time to resign. No excuses here.
He can coach. He just can't do his style in this league with the talent level he has.

Have to be innovative on offense. How many OCs has he had. 5 or 6. There's a reason for that.

He is the common denominator- why you think Coen wanted out of here asap
He doesn’t get to call plays with Rams
Just wanted out of the grip

After the first 3-4 OCs I’d agree with that. But, no matter who we bring in, or, what their offensive philosophy is, they get here & they all look the same. They coach scared, ultra-conservatively & look half incompetent. Stoops clearly can’t keep his hands out of the offense & handcuffs his OCs. Scangarello is bad. No debating that. But, we’ve had a shit, simplistic & one dimensional offense every season he’s been here. After a certain point, it’s senseless to keep blaming the new, annual OC hire.

We should have lost last week we was lucky, this week a bunch of dumb plays our offense was awful our offensive line was awful also again and just terrible coaching by Stoops but we are stuck with him.
