Cubs CF thinks there is 3 outs, but it is only 2. Winn tags up and scores from second on a Sac Fly. Turns out to be the winning run.

Don't know if true, but read Walker has the third fastest bat speed in MLB. Judge is fifth for comparison. Be nice if he could figure it out.

Walker to IL with appendicitis surgery. Read a story about Musical having appendicitis in 1947. Early in the year he was hitting one something and needed surgery. He didn't want to miss major time, so they froze his appendix and he waited till the season was over to have surgery. He finished below par for him, but raised his average to 310 by seasons end.

The inconsistency continues. A split with the Cubs isn’t a season ending disaster, but it’s still a bit frustrating not to be able to finish off a series win and gain a couple of games in the standings after taking the first 2.
