A day later and I still feel the pleasure and overall good feeling about once again beating UL. Prior to the game, I read posts and certainly couldn't debate with many fans that thought this game might be another loss after Ohio State. I posted it was difficult to predict but I thought Kentucky would win with the home court. But, like many, I wasn't exactly sure or confident either. But, look at the consequences that would not occur if we hadn't won:
RP giving the finger to the Rupp crowd and having articles in national publications about it and none shed a positive light on him.
RP skipping the post game press conference having even his loyal reports putting him down for it.
Kentucky with wins over Duke and UL, our two most hated rivals. Plus, these wins still give us a chance now to climb up the ladder to a one seed (it still is possible)
Regaining the players' confidence within themselves and allowing for more growth.
Watching the UL fan meltdown and sitting back with a smile knowing how one-sided this match between us and those jerks has become.
Being able to go to sleep because we didn't lose.
