Clemson, OSU, Georgia and Bama. It's odd how this has played out but I'm very happy with the Pope hire thus far and you can tell the future is very bright.

I just remembered we did beat Florida, who used to be a football school lol.

To be fair, UK plays in the best football conference in the country with multiple blue bloods. Also, the Cats have greatly improved their toughness and grit. Never going to be great defensively but if they played OSU and Clemson again, I think we’d see a much different outcome. UGA is a tough matchup due to their 4 man but with a fully healthy team and better whistle, Cats win that rematch as well.

At the end of tha day, none of this really matters until March 👍 Win some Lose some and hope the team gets better along the way. I still think UK makes some noise in the tournament..

Florida has 3 national titles n football the last 29 years. They have and will always be a football school. Almost any team we beat n the sec is a football school and same with most any team from a major conference ooc.

At this point I am far more concerned about this teams overall physical health, and a bit concerned about their mental health as well.

Carr's injury in particular worries me. The lower back is part of the body's core. If you have ever had a lower back problem then you know how crippling it can be, and how long it takes to get over it. Depending, he could be done for the year in any meaningful way.

Butler's injuries worry too. We are playing him major minutes and that shoulder is a ticking time bomb. I just hope they can get enough treatment on it to keep it from tearing completely.

There are other dings and scrapes here and there as well that could turn into something.

This season seems to be football on the hardwood. I hope they can hold it together until March.
