(11-3) Raceland

* Rematch from an early-season game Raceland won 7-6.
* Pikeville seeking a third straight 1A state title.


2A

(14-0) Owensboro Catholic
vs.
(12-1) Mayfield

* The traditional juggernaut Mayfield hasn’t won a state title since 2015.
* OC is a Catholic School in Owensboro. (That’s all I know about them)

3A

(13-1) Bell County
vs.
(13-1) Christian Academy of Louisville

* Pretty sure this would be Bell County’s first state championship since 1991.
* CAL looking to repeat in 3A. Would be their 4th state title.

4A

(14-0) Covington Catholic
vs.
(14-0) Boyle County

* This should be the best of the six games.
* BC trying to win their 4th straight 4A title.
* CC has numerous state championships but hasn’t won one since 2019 in 5A.

5A

(12-2) Cooper
vs.
(11-3) Bowling Green

* Cooper knocked out Highlands last week.
* This would be BG’s seventh 5A state title.

6A

(11-3) Bryan Station
vs.
(11-3) Trinity

* Think this is Station’s first title-game appearance since 1999 when they lost to St. X.
* A disappointing three-loss season for Trinity will likely end in the schools 8,000th state championship.

Not gonna be a happy week in Caketown although playing up (5A) certainly has its headwinds.

Trinity already crushed Bryan Station earlier in the season (August). Their Super-Freshman QB is now an "upperclassman" based on experience. Running clock?

As a Shamrock alumni we were ready to get rid of Cobb and lure Beatty out of retirement with big bucks...LOL. I guess coach Cobb has saved his job. Or a Freshman QB did. BTW.....the kid is a LilBro fan. Ugh
