Start Willis over Poythress

I'm not even a Willis fan boy who acts like he's the second coming of Larry Bird or something like that, but he deserves to start on effort alone. What's the point of starting Poythress? What does he really bring to the team besides one good game every 5 or 6 games? Big whoop. At least Willis brings effort on the floor. He was improved defensively tonight too and he rebounded really well.

Willis earned more minutes tonight for sure. And while I'm leaning in favor of him starting the next game, it isn't because of how well he played so much as how badly Poy played. Alex needs to sit for a while - this lackadaisical effort is becoming ridiculous. Not so upset with Lee - he at least tries. But Lee needs someone else in the front court with him who is there to play; he can't do it on his own.

Some people will not concede that Willis can play because they have dogged him so long and said he would never play meaningful mins hear they couldn't bare to be wrong. Willis could average a triple double over the next 4 games and some would find fault in his game or still say he can't play.

We could not or would not defend the three.

We played 3 on 5 on offense . . . Again.

We are unable to get the ball to a big in scoring position.

Willis did nothing to change a single thing about that. Willis had a good game for Willis. He's played decent in his own right a couple of other times. He has not and can not elevate this team.
