Standing and watching

Agree completely.

I've complained about this all season. Mostly offline. My wife will even tell you "If they would rebound, they'd be great."

We don't box out. We can't seem to grab a ball with 2 hands, Our initial guy always seems to tip it rather than grabbing it. We wait for the ball to come to us. We don't go get it.

You could track the score of the Florida game by rebounds. Florida came out dominating the rebounds early. 7-1 or 8-1 to start. Then we started rebounding. We took the lead. The rebounds at halftime were nearly tied.

Then Florida starts outrebounding us big time again in the 2nd half. 7-1 or 8-1 again. Then we again start to rebound. We managed to maintain the lead.

It's one of the most crucial aspects of the game. It gives you the ball and a chance to score. It takes away a chance to score from the other team. The ball is the most important thing. Why are we not urgently going ot get the ball? Doesn't matter how good you play defense for 30 seconds if you just give them the ball back.

It was lack of effort, but the UGA player who got the rebound also gave just enough of a forearm shove in Almonor's back to gain the advantage for the rebound.

Almonor has to battle more there to either get the rebound or force the official to call the shove and/or over the back call.
