St. John's has been nationally irrelevant for the better part of 25 years, but are now 21-3 in Year 2 under Pitino.

i’m not at all surprised that pitino is still winning. he always looked far and wide for players that can do a few specific things well in his system. now with the portal, he’s a kid in a candy shop. he’ll find the unrated greyhounds from small schools and have them suffocating people.
