Square approached the press conference desk with a crutch and an overtly visible limp. During the conference they asked how much pain DeAndre was in and he said that it was so bad that he was ruled out for the game. That was up until Bully McCall went up to him and grabbed him by the jersey and told him they needed him. So, he grabbed his helmet....

Story book shit right here guys.

This just gave me cold chills... So many heroes today that will be remembered forever. I'm still waiting to believe what actually happened. haha What a game! It's a shame either team had to lose today, and I respect the heck out of Iowa, but man I love every single one of our Cats. To say I'm proud just isn't enough but it's all I got. Go Cats!!! Thank you to all you guys and gals on here for an amazing season as well...

What I love about this era of UK football is that we don't have too much positive history, But now, we are actually watching it be created before our eyes the past 5-6 years. Too often our success has been intermittent and false and very short lived. This feels entirely different.

Stoops has created something that may one day in the future result in a statue and field being named for him. Time will tell.

His elbow was wrapped up too. I thought at first his elbow was the injury then seen him limping bad and was like "Huh.".

I love Square. Hes one of the best linebackers we've ever had at UK and that's saying quite a lot considering the NFL draftees during the Stoops era. He has been a rock from the the start of his Wildcat career. For me he's right up there with Woodyard and Avery Williamson. Hope he gets his shot in the league.

I love, love, love, the way Square held the football after his interception, up in the air like a lion king. You could just see that he had astonished himself and was overwhelmed in the moment.

Don’t understand why he’d put it all on the line out there for such a meaningless game!
Watch all the players and Coaches give it all they have, and how they celebrate and say it's meaningless, no way. They work hard all year for a Bowl Game and it's an honor and reward for what they put into it to play and how can anyone even think it's meaningless to them.

Pretty sure he was being sarcastic. Happy New Year to all.

That is also a result of the culture Stoops has created with the UK football program. Quitters, wimps and selfish fools are not embraced by Stoops.

The game changed when he went out. He knew he was needed on the field. I watched him go to 3 trainers on the sideline trying to cleared to go back in.

Yeah, who in their right mind is going to say 'no' to Bully.
