I’m really disappointed it’s not being televised like it has been in years past.
LOL. We just got back. I went broke in the concession stand and then, by heck, he wanted Chicken Nuggets from Wendy’s. Anyone wanting to contribute to the future Big Blue Wall, contact me please. I promise to push him all the way. Best thing is, he wants it. He shared a cool moment with Horsey after the game today. He called Horsey out and said your wearing my number. 9 years old. I have a superstar in my house. 😆.
Looks like all spring games were on live on the apps...espn+ or sec net+.
Just getting us more & more ready for this reality of sports watching. Already 1 noncon home game has to be on sec net+. By 2023 i bet it will also be 1 conference home game for everyone on an app.
Really good spring drills!
1. I focused in on tackle spots …Goodwin did fine and once he gets a dude he stops a defender but as solid as Goodwin was….Buford was better. Deandre looked really good out there. I think we’re fine at tackle
2. McClain is the backup RB and Drennan might be third string. smoke has been passed up and didn’t even see Wright tote it. We’re good at RB imo
3. My biggest concern is not can we protect the passer but can we rush it. I’m not sold JJ Weaver is that great. And we got zilch from Dline. I still say this Is out biggest weakness
4. Levis is a stud. Scored his only two drives and made it look easy. But the backup Qb is a mess. Beau looks to have been passed by Iowa transfer. Balls were same old non zip and not accurate imo. Sheron looks to have a below average arm as well. I imagine we hit transfer portal hard at Qb
5. Tayveon Robinson is going to be Wandale part II. And Dane Key is going to play a ton.

Yeah…. Didn’t think about that, but I was caught up in yard work / house projects throughout the day anyway; but if it were on live TV I would have been tempted to watch it. Oh well, streaming is the wave of the future-it’s simply a matter of time.

Zero importance. Last possible think needed. Another place kicker makes more sence than recruiting & giving a scholarship to a QB before Levis leaves.
Love your insight K TIME, it is always good. Just give Weaver a chance, and a little time… I see something special there.
Yea for sure Ox is going to be better at DT once he’s back. But the loss of Paschal at DE can’t be stressed enough and we need the Jack snd Sam spots to be a ton better to offset his loss. We need Weaver to be Josh Allen lite or it will be like shooting fish in a barrel with our secondary vs the pass
Keep in mind Jordan Wright didn't play either. I think if ox, Weaver and Wright stay healthy this year, our pass rush will be fine.
Teams need a viable back up QB. UK has a great fit at starting QB but is an injury away from a 5 win vs possibly 10 win season. Good that Buford can take a tackle spot. The O seems set except at backup QB. D needs a transfer corner as stated and already lost a Safetyto injury. In a 3 man D line set can't have avearge lines and DBs. Ox and Wright need to be the playmakers. That would help a lot. Portal will get some new names soon and UK will need a couple more. QB for 2023 looks like a big need going forward. Good to be only a few players short vs 6 -8.
I watched the highlights in a 15-minute YouTube clip. I think we will be a good team, but did not see enough to feel comfortable about our being an excellent one. Levis and RB's seem very solid, for sure, along with receiving potential. The defense will need to improve. Hopefully, they will. Dane Key looked impressive as a true Freshman ... and Drennan is improved.

Good take, Defense will have to improve to be a contender. Offensively, I like this team. Drennan was a nice surprise yesterday. Mr. Key might be the key. I think he might be a star one day. I still love me some C-Rod too.
That defense wasn't our defense. They were out there giving the offense the looks they'll see, testing offensive personnel, and playing touch football. The staff has some things to evaluate, but we don't have much to go on.
Anyone else find it weird that both Stoops and Scangarello refused to comment when asked directly about Donut playing well? They instead spoke about other players or about the position generally... Maybe it's just trying to keep him motivated, but it stood out to me

Maybe but was mentioned on radio Drennen worked really hard in the off season developing his body, gained needed weight. Thought he ran hard, maybe the light came on.
