Speakers a little to Loud

This complaint has no credibility because in the title it was a little too loud and then described as way too loud in the post . Accurate but lacks precision , do better .

Being there I found the decimal level to be just great...its not a funeral.

The crowd was great also...if the music which really sets the atmosphere was to low people would complain ...I'm waiting for the day someone complains the crowd was to loud.
Were you able to find all the books that you needed?

New sound system was installed 3 years ago along with new jumbotrons.

I tell ya - our fan base really does look in every nook and cranny and finds something to complain about. Before the new sound system was installed, it wasn't loud enough....now it's too loud.

Personally, I go to games to watch the game (season ticket holder since 99, minus the last 2 years of the Joker era)....could care less about any of the secondary things like pre-game atmosphere (I tailgate and hang out with my buddies - life is good), the type or genre of music being played, how loud the music is, the food at the concession stands, etc., etc., etc.

Go cheer the Cats on and enjoy it - forget all the sideshow stuff.
Gave up your tickets after a 6-7 season at Kentucky and you're one of the better fans. This basically sums up BBN.

Convinced folks just complain to complain. Best sound system I have heard in a college stadium and music was fun and kept the energy up. Sorry they did not play Cotton Eye Joe or some other stupid KY theme country song.

Well, the UK band did perform a pre-game version of 'Blue Moon of Kentucky' which whipped the crowd into a madcap frenzy.

This may sound mean, but in all honesty I cant tell what song the UK band is playing unless they announce it. Theyre that bad.

Not going to say they are bad because the kids put a lot of time and energy into it, but the only music I recognize is the pregame stuff. Their halftime show was in honor of the Backstreet Boys and I could not tell what they were playing even when I knew what songs they were going to play.

Thought the sound and music was the best I've heard at Commonwealth. Been going to games since the late 90's.

I agree: there are just some people within this fan base that just want to complain about something.

If any of the fans complaining about the loud music would like to donate their ticket to me, I'd be more than happy to take it! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Amazing thread. Thought the sounds system & song selection was awesome. as Calipari has so well indoctrinated the basketball fans into believing, we should be players-first in all aspects of our athletic department. Hope every song played extra loud is the favorite of the players on the field & the recruits in town, t'hell with old fogies in the stands who don't like it.

And this Sat I hope the sound system is turned up from a 10 to an

I think the louder the better; however, it all originates in the west endzone. If you sit there, I am sure it is pretty loud to those people. I would like to see the sound system spread out through the whole stadium and an increase in the sound quality. They have the thing turned to 11, causing the speakers to distort and decreasing the quality.
People used to love the We're From Kentucky Song, mock it all you want.

If they played Julio Eglasias " to all the girls I've loved before " on whatever 8 track their using , it would be light years better than the NBA theme song , " It's going down for real" as played before and after EVERY NBA playoffs and regular season game commercial break and half time. And then of course you have the low hanging fruit for every young girl " Just Dance" assaulting all ear drums connected to a brain.
