South Carolina loses at home to UT

I doubt it. I do not see UK playing two pathetic games in row again this season like they did against Ole Miss and TX A&M.

Then again, maybe I'm wrong.

You play UK, you are going to play 110% no matter what.... Winning or losing makes no difference.

usc probably looking ahead. their defense wasn't there at all. their problem is they have no size.

No size v this UK is basically a death sentence.

I'm thinking Cats have revenge on their minds this weekend - after last year's debacle. Might also explain a little bit of tonight's performance, if that is the case.

They should have been hungry against UT also, but apparently it takes wildcat on the menu to bring out the true appetite of anyone in the SEC. Will never be able to understand this, but it is what it is.

Maybe Cal will get to stay for the whole game this time

The difference is this. Saturday the place will be full. tonight it was empty. Hopefully a lot of Cat fans will get in. SC should not be able to challenge us.

Keep in mind one of the teams that UK lost to last season.
Our boys have also made it clear that they love the road, and the energy that it always brings. I'm ready, can't wait!

They have no size so we should be more effective inside. That said, they may zone us and leave us open from 3.

I wish the game was a little later in the evening as it seems our guys don't seem to be awake for these early games.

Absolutely agree with you, This is the only thing that even remotely concerns me. Don't like noon starts.... but even if they start slow the second half they should be wide awake. I'll be there, GO CATS!

Of course they did.
Blessed is the team that plays the team that plays Kentucky next. I have no idea who Vandy played immediately before Ky, but they probably lost it. If not they'll likely lose to whoever they play next. The Cats better realize SC has been working all month on the game with them. They have already lost the game before. We'll see what they do with the game after no matter the outcome of the Ky game. They're playing their super bowl tuesday.

Have we played worse in any other arena than Columbia?

I don't think so, but I do think this will be our best game in Cal's time here at UK.

actually their 6-11 euro center has had some really good games and could give us trouble but yes in general USC is small . IMO those are the teams that give up trouble . The quick small teams . I love when we play teams with 4-5 big men . but USC either plays like gangbusters or bad and i think they play bad this time .

The 2012 team played pretty well there. 86-52 I don't expect that big a blowout, but it will be more similar to that game Saturday than to last year's or 2010's.

Actually we are 7-4 in that arena since it opened in 2003.

UK fans make a big showing at all SEC road venues, but this one even more so. Expect 40-50% of the crowd to be BLUE. I will be there with 3 friends.
