Beamer went way over the top after SC went down and scored. Glad the idiot is gonna lose.
Might have served him better to tell the team they needed to whip that arse, instead of going completely spastic.
If folks think Stoops losses his sh!t, and he does, take a look at the YouTube video that is on the way of Beamer’s rant.
Illinois was purposely slow getting on an off the field when Carolina subbed, Beamer would throw his arms up, trying to draw attention to himself. When the player got hurt I think Beamer may have wanted them to speed things up and Belimia mocked his arm movement.
Illinois coach is a an old hand on the sidelines and was a jack-wagon today to be sure, but he found a way to hop into the head of Beamer. Age and treachery vs youth and high energy on display.
Beamer, like Lane Kiffin, is a spoiled coach’s kid who was fast tracked into a job he didn’t earn (Kiffin many times over in college and NFL).

Definitely out coached sc. Was a matchup of styles. Illinois with a standard brett bielema run game vs sc who has an insane pass rush.
Uk fans should really be pissed. Thats exactly what uk should've done. We had great success running the ball when we would. Instead we kept trying to throw the ball, playing right into their hands. I knew after that game, bush was a poor hire.
He said "boom! take that you MF'er" not once but twice across the field like a little bi*tch when SC scored............. and then lost. 🤣
To be fair, UK did not have a great running game either, which we showed multiple times throughout the season, especially when we failed to score a single point something like 5 times when we had the ball inside the five yard line.
I can't stand Beamer and he probably didnt handle things well, but he had every right to be pissed. The broadcast official said that if the offense makes substitutions the defense has 5 seconds to make substitutions. The officials continually held play up well beyound the 5 seconds allowing Illinois all the time they wanted to make substitutions.
Each time we ran the ball inside that game, we got 6+ yards. We ran with ease. Then, as the season prior, we kept trying to force the ball to barion. That let their pass rush wreck us.
That was doubly true once our RT quit at half and forced a true freshman into action.
If we ran the ball, we win that game.
Spot on, would have won the Mizzou game last year also.

The rules committee left the 5 sec part out of the written rule. It's up to the officials, UT had one of their DL basically walking off the field, official moved ball was snapped and the DL was flagged. The officials today didn't opt to do that, but should have.
Now we are going to attempt to become a run first offense again next year with a passing attack OC!

I don’t think criticizing Beamer and being unhappy with Stoops’ performance as a coach are mutually exclusive.
Stating that Beamer is acting ridiculous is either reasonable or it isn’t… it’s a matter of calling out his individual behavior and has nothing to do with being a UK fan.
Beamer is a bigger dork than Drink and that's saying something but both can coach circles around Stoops.
Beamer is the cringiest coach in college football who will lose a lot of games before getting fired at USC. Kiffin is a jackass but a hell of a good coach. The 2 are not even close.
Alabama should have hired Kiffin.

I heard analyst on ESPN saying that the arm waive is something that all NFL teams and a lot of college teams do on kick offs and punts as a "gentlemens agreement" to indicate a fair catch has been called so that players will pull up to avoid unnecessary injuries. Apparently USC players did it on a punt or kickoff and the Illinois players stopped on the play when the receiver didn't indicate a fair catch and so he was able to gain 25 yards on the return before they realized it and tackled him. Belima was upset because he felt it was a cheap play to take advantage of the "gentlemen's agreement" and that is why he was doing the arm waive at their sideline and mouthing to Beamer about it. It apparently set Beamer off and he went into his fit of rage.
