So what do you think of this upcoming trip???

A friend (NC State grad) and I were having lunch in Burlington NC last month and as always the case started talking about sports and trips we have taken to various venues (Lambeau, Wrigley, Miller Park).

Too make a long story short, after some ticket purchasing that night, in mid-November, we are heading to Notre Dame Stadium (first time there) to watch the Fighting Irish play Wake Forest...the next day we travel to Green Bay to watch my Packers play the Lions.....and then.....drumroll.........................

We have tickets for the Tuesday game in Chicago between the Cats and Dook in the United Center....My buddy has a ticket connection in coach K's office.


Not a bad 4 day trip.....Oh yea, our airline tickets from Raleigh to Chicago were only $88 round trip...I love Southwest!!!

I'd guess a ND and GB home game would be on a lot of sport's fans bucket list. I've done neither. Of course I don't like either team. Excellent leverage of that $88 to get 3 games out of one round-trip flight. I feel the same about SW. Especially if you start checking your dates early and daily you can often get really cheap fares just about any place they go. It may not be flying as it was on the Concorde, but they'll get you there at a very reasonable price.
