So sick of POPE not

This reminds me of one of Cal's teams when they were so tight they couldn't make a shot. Our guys have abandoned the offense and decided to dribble drive for some reason. Pope seems powerless to stop it.
It reminds me of almost every time I have watched a team that lost the first 2 and the teams are somewhat evenly matched.

Not showing up ready to play for a Sweet 16 game against one of, if not your biggest rival for a chance to go to the Elite 8 is unacceptable and should NEVER happen. From the gate, Tennessee has out worked and outplayed us in every aspect of the game. This falls squarely on Pope in my eyes. Pope and our guys were way out of their league in this one and it showed.

im sick of bandwagon fans like canebreak. needs to cheer for miami hurricanes, instead of acting like a kentucky fan. pope isn't the problem. having a bad game. nothing more, nothing less.
Ad hominem attacks don’t help. I’ve been a fan longer than you. State your case and be nice. You don’t know me and you sound like someone who cannot have a good conversation about issues.

Not to mention I don’t know how you can look at this game and think it was well coached. UT had one objective. Run us off 3 point line. We made no adjustments and weren’t ready for that eventuality. Plus we looked afraid. If you cannot handle that then I guess you can attack me or my motives or character.

It's not hard to think.. That the moment, might have even been beyond Pope. It's not like he has a ton of post season experience.. He is learning as well.. I think, hope, he is smart enough to adjust going forward... And not stuck in his ways like our last coach. He has done some really really good things.. And some head scratchers.. Was he the absolutely best coach... Maybe not.. But he has alot of upside.. I'll hold total judgement till he gets a few years of his players under his belt, and gets better players... I think his future is bright, but there is some question marks.

Pope is not "powerless" to stop it, he just doesn't want to. It's my biggest issue with him, and he's wonderful in so many ways. He just will not hold guys accountable, or at least make it look like he is.

Lol, now he calls a timeout with 1:05 down 13, smh, only cut two points off halftime lead, so what 13 point play you calling...
