Damn it sucks but haven’t been able to say that often this season. Pope’s done more with less athletic players than Cal has done with his 5 stars. Arky had to play their best game all year to win. It’s not Cal that coached the 3 balls to finally fall. Take Pope any day over Cal. UK’s future is bright compared to where it was last year.

Shows Cal can still coach... And 5 star players when modivated...can outplay a bunch of 3 and 4 star players... We where not good enough, to be as cocky as the fans where... Booing Cal and the players.... We got what we deserve...
Why do you say that? Uk has played better than anyone expected this year with not a lot of talent.
Because we have a better team and we are at home. No reason to lose this game. We can’t lose these type of games.

Honestly, you can blame this on the fanbase for amping up Ark with booing. That was probably the worst thing to do. It only further motivated them.

It's unacceptable to lose games like this, Coach Pope knows and the players do too. Maybe they truly felt a little more tight because of it. Having Arkansas play far above it has all season long, and it's not a surprise Cal was the beneficiary of that, eh. Let them enjoy it while it lasts.
I can take this one on the chin with my head held high. I feel like its partly karmic as well. Never should have been a negative narrative from a lot of kentucky fans. But they were. Not that the attitude played that much in the loss.

That Defense we played tonight was worse than NBA all star games

Losing to a HOF Coach with 5 star talent that are highly motivated vs. St. Peter’s with the POTY and Oakland with two lottery picks.
This is far down that list. IMHO.

Clemson, Ohio Stste, Georgia, Arkansas, All best us with quicker tougher players and guarding our three attempts very well. We are missing guards who can create and finish.

“They never hit 3’s like that” blah blah blah. Cal likely finally watched a few mins of film and realized we’d play them like we did Tennessee. We’re playing back on defense just letting teams shoot the 3 hoping they miss. Tennessee did Arkansas didnt. That’s a piss poor strategy.
You're probably right. But I guess I'm talking more about regular season losses and what the game meant to us fans.
Yep ridiculous some fans saying this is the worst loss. How about getting beat by Evansville at home??? Arkansas has superior talent compared to UK but UK has done so well this year our expectations were much higher because of our coach getting the most out of his team.
I'm infinitely more disappointed and pissed at Brea and his BS. At least Perry and Chandler give some effort. Brea can hit the road as far as I'm concerned.
Man, love your loyalty but this team just lost big to what Dykes said was maybe the most anticipated game in UK history.
Arkansas has two 5 stars on the team. One is Wagner. Many on this board talked about him last year like they are talking about Chandler tonight. The other 5 star was Fland.
This was a poorly coached game tonight. That's it. Pope has had some big wins this year but this was a disaster. The team and Pope will learn and move on.
