Realistically speaking UK could very well be 7-0 now. Gave the Ole Piss game away and held them scoreless for second half.
We gave the Cocks 7 points first 15 seconds of game which changed whole complexion of the game. With Levi’s we win this game easily.
The coverage mistakes we made against UT last year can not be nearly as bad( I think and hope). If NFL scouts are correct UK has the superior QB and the best running back in the SEC. Should be about as healthy as we’ve been since start of season. Stoops said Robinson and Flax should both be back. Does anyone have any info on linebacker Jacques Jones health.
My guess is UK plus 9.5-10. If UK can have sustained drives and control clock UT can’t score. I think UK certainly has the superior defense and UT probably the better offense and home field advantage. What day you fellow UK fans?

“Probably the better offense”? That’s an understatement.

Tennessee scored 38 on Florida, 40 on LSU, and 52 on Bama, which was the #2 scoring defense in the SEC until we torched them.

Tennessee is weak in the secondary, but Kentucky is weak on the OL and our pass rush will have Levis running for his life all night.

I think the line will be Tennessee -16 or so. We will score 35+, and I don’t think you will be able to keep up.

Tennessee 40
Kentucky 27

We? You’re on the team?

Hey UT fan you are out of your f—king mind if you think the line will be 16. We had 150 yards more total offense than you last year.
You cannot judge our offense strictly by numbers. We didn’t have the SEC’s best running back first 4 games and no Levis against the Cocks. We might not win,but if u think the Vegas line will be 16 you are beyond idiotic. UT can’t score if UK has long sustained drives and your offense is not on the field. Figure out a way for us to make a friendly wager of say $100 and I say game on. Put ur money where ur mouth is!!

UT has punted 3 times this year. It will be UK +11 at a minimum. Gonna say +15

Tennessee is top 10 in the country in run defense. Levis can’t throw if he is constantly being sacked/pressured. Where are your “long, sustained drives” going to come from? Most of Tennessee’s scoring drives are under 2 minutes, so it doesn’t really matter. Kentucky had the ball for 47 minutes last year and still got beat by double digits. I would not bet on a line of -16, but it is certainly possible.

You won by 3 last year last time I checked that wasn’t double digits just a guess you are not very smart are you

Hey Bronco Vol did you not learn the basics of Math or did you just not have no upbringing. How is a 45-42 win by UT last year classified as a double digit win. Go Suck a Big Orange. As far as your vaunted run defense you have not played against a RB like C-Rod this year. Will Levis is not being touted as possibly the first QB in the NFL draft for nothing. UK also has the number 12 total scoring defense in the country as well and that’s with having played against 2 high powered offensive teams like Ole Miss and Mississippi State. Yes, UT is a very good team but UK could very well be 7-0. We aren’t lucky enough like UT was to have Bama not run the ball in last 50 seconds and leave UT time to score. If we are lucky enough to be tied with a minute to go C-Rod will run the ball down your SUCK ASS Orange 🍊 throat!! Go back to your whole in the ground where you belong!

Opens UT -9.5. Moves as far as UT -12.5. Cats cover, maybe you win your moneyline bet on Cats as well. They are overrated, we a bit underrated. I'm pretty optimistic after the way we handled Leach and State's AirRaid. Both offenses gave us trouble last year.

Well our oline is gonna be strong after the bye week. Last season was a tight game and I think stoops will have some tricks up his sleeve to get some stops or TOs on UT. Will be fun to watch UT fans cry and throw crap on the field ala ole miss game a year ago.

According to NFL scouts Levis is a great Pro QB prospect/top3 QB in draft, but as far as a college QB right Hooker is outperforming him.

It's why many believe Hooker is now the odds on favorite to win the Heisman........we shall see where they both end up as far as success at the collegecQB level. Levis very well could be the better PRO prospect and Hooker the better college QB

I think UK runs the ball well and controls the clock offensively. Brad White is one of the best in the business and while I have no illusions of shutting down Tennessee I think we can at least slow them down and keep the score manageable. This sets up beautifully as a trap game for Tennessee, they've already blown their load against 2 of their top 3 biggest rivals and UK comes in right before a bye week and UGA. I can see a scenario where Tennessee expects UK to lay down and Stoops has the guys pissed off and ready to play. My heart says UK pulls a massive upset but my brain says UTjr. 28 UK 21

You won by 3 flipping points last year, and were lucky to do so.

FK off.

UK handled Ole Miss's tempo pretty well too, just gotta get a few stops and have success on offense, and UK is gonna put a scare in TN if not out right beat them.

I keep hearing this stat...curious how many times you've turned it over and turned it over on downs? that is the real number
Well they have thrown 1 INT, are 11-16 on 4th down so 5 Turnover on Downs, and lost 6 fumbles.

Tennessee also averages 72 penalty yards per game to Kentucky's 35.

I think the line will be UT -8. UT's a hot team right now that can flat score bunches of points on anyone, but Kentucky will use a lot of 12 even 13 personnel sets and run the ball with CROD, burn clock and score. Yes UT run defense is very good but if we have numbers we can move the ball on the ground. UT pass offense is pathetic so UK will find balance with the offense. I think UK will need to go over the top a few times with success to generate enough offense to win. As far as intangibles it really depends on how much of a game this is to UT. If they take the attitude of "hey we beat Bama we can easily beat Kentucky" then they stand to get burned. If they play with the same energy and effort as they did against Bama they will be hard to beat at home.

UK: 36
UT: 31

I realize that counting is a difficult thing to grasp for most vol fans, but winning by 3 is not double digits.

New math is not your friend!! I know as a Vol fan you guys can only count on your two middle fingers. So anything over two is just double digits. Probably hard to even count to two holding mustard bottles!!
