Nobody guaranteed it would be Donovan.

Everybody HOPED it would be Donovan.

I'd say 99.9% knew he was beyond a long shot, mainly due to timing.

You have no idea if Donovan was offered and if he was, WHAT he was offered.

That's very possible.

As many have said, he might just like the NBA lifestyle more.

Not having to recruit is what a lot of coaches dream of.

I personally still believe Donovan will be back coaching in college before long, but I don't pretend to know the guy.

He might now consider himself an NBA lifer.
