Part of the settlement between the NCAA and schools suing over immediate eligibility (not having to sit out a year) is this:

"Under the agreement, the NCAA would be required to grant an additional year of eligibility to Division I athletes previously deemed ineligible under the transfer eligibility rule since the 2019-20 academic year."

As I understand it, Allen was forced to sit out last year and would qualify.

I don’t believe he is interested in another year. He wants to be a coach. I expect him to be a GA somewhere next season.
