Slowing the game down with the lead again

I love Coach Cal, but this shortening the game down to manage possessions has to stop. We do not have the talent to do that this year. Let them keep playing what got you the lead. Now bash away.

I won't bash; but this is an stupid take. We didn't lose slowing the game down. We lost because we quit guarding the three.

You are watching a different game than I was then. We did slow the game down and ran some kind of offense that did not get us a shot until they were under five seconds on the clock several times.

Yeah I'm so sick of seeing this brought up after we lose a game. Every coach will tell his team late in a close game to run the offense and take the best shot.

They came from 12 down to the lead in a matter of less than 3 minutes. They made 5 straight shots. They forced UK to run shot clock and forced a couple of turnovers. Cal sometimes slows it down on purpose, however this was not the case today ... Go back and watch the game. Give Auburn credit ... They hit tough shots (running left hander ... banked in 3 pointer ... lay up when he twisted his ankle) and there D got tough when they got down 12 and UK waited to long to respond.
Remember ... UK gets everyone's best. It isn't always the refs ... the coach ... or UK playing bad. The truth is ... and we need to accept that ... This team doesn't have enough pieces to be that good.
