I hope we can get some first hand info from those fortunate enough to attend the open practices, much appreciated.

This article was of some interest, not sure how good a source but interesting. As usual the SEC dominated a football facility contest, five of the top eight, the usual suspects, Bama, Auburn, LSU, TU, and Van------VANDY???

Besides the SEC teams the other three are two powers in the far north and another pretty good program in the frozen north where they are needed much more The truth about our recent GREAT investment in football (and it was great for us) is that we are still way behind most of our SEC competition in facilities due to DECADES of neglect, none worse than the decade from 2002 to 2012 when the chit hit the fan. I am still bothered by us dropping to 13th out of 14 in seating in the SEC, only ahead of Vandy's division two "stadium".

Definitely on the road back, primarily due to a great recruiting staff that has as their main attraction the fact that they have the credentials to also be great coaches------once they get the talent and depth needed to compete in the SEC.

And, as always, MONEY invested has had a great effect, not just in better facilities but in showing the new commitment to football.
