UF game: Dingle targeted twice, dropped both. Both hands on ball but to be fair, passes weren't the best BV's ever thrown but college TEs catch those every week. Anderson was roaming the middle of the field on one route, was WIDE open, but BV apparently never saw him. Missed opportunity for a big play. Toward the end of the game with the issue settled, Boley overthrew Rodriquez on a seam route. Still would've been nice to complete the pass. So TEs were targeted, just missed chances for completions.

Skinner undersized, will likely be a H-Back type player. Good hands, decent speed.

That int....Dingle is running and the ball is over his helmet and about 12 inches behind his numbers......that was 95% on Brock with a bad pass. Maybe Dingle or a superior TE would have tipped it and re-caught it.

But our fans deficntion of catchable passes are extremely unrealistic

Would LOVE to see more NFL/West Coast/etc. concepts built into our passing game. I believe we have TEs that could be weapons and our QB's best friend. Even if we need them to block, can they not chip at the LOS and then release? I don't think we need them to create explosive plays every down, just your basic 5-10 yard reception 3-5 times per game. Every so often, we might hit one in the seam or, like Cummings vs. UofL last year, one might sneak out for a big play. But, to completely ignore the TEs makes no sense for an offense that struggles to sustain drives, keep the QB upright and convert on 3rd-and-5 or less. No sense whatsoever.

I said it was a poor pass, pay attention, but probably even Dingle would say he could have caught it.

1. You said he got both hands on it... He hardly grazed it with his fingertips.
2. You also said " but college TEs catch those every week.".....I'd argue otherwise

To the main point....UK almost always does a crappy job of using TEs. I am happy to grab Skinner but he'll likely grab less than 15 passes in his best year...which is a waste

I'm not rewatching 15 minutes of that BS so you can have a perceived "gotcha" moment. You're free to believe what you want, I'm free to believe what I want.

I do agree UK does a very poor job of involving TEs in the passing game. Assume it's because they're needed to help the OL. Otherwise, I would hope UK has somebody watching film to see how other teams are getting TEs open in their scheme.

As usual...have a nice TE room

Dingle
Kattus

Future
Anderson
Rodriguez
now Skinner

Just don't see a staff that will utilize solid TE room very well
Well, Dingle & Kattus haven't impressed me this season so far.
