Skal vs. Towns first 8 college games averages

Towns had a ton of talent and other bigs around him. Skal has Lee.

No comparison in their work ethics either. Skal is timid, lazy and needs to hit shots to be effective. At least right now.

I can't agree that he's lazy - I think he's overwhelmed and definitely timid; but lazy? No - really don't think he is

I'll submit to that Bkocats. Lazy may be strong. But I have seen enough plays where he makes no attempt to go after a ball. Timid is probably more accurate. He will improve in time.

Not sure a coach can instill fight into a player .. remember the old cliché .. when the going gets tough the tough get going

Skal so far checks out when the going gets tough .. and not every player responds well to criticism (as in constant screaming). Surely Cal knows that. Coach has his work cut out for him with Skal. The demeanor difference between KAT and Skal is staggering.
