Sit Leary. This bad experiment needs to end.

Nobody is stopping you.

I am not a defender of Leary, but false narratives don't belong here. Leary hasn't had the season everyone expected, but hyping new players only to throw them under the bus later is an all too common behavior here. Leary got sacked 4 times and hurried many more times yesterday. Several catchable passes were dropped. I lost track of all the holding penalties and blown blocking assignments. This loss was on our OL.
If (as some want) we bench Leary then we assure a 5-7 season. That is the flat reality of this team.

Yenser needs to go. Levis was running for his life last year and since league play has started so has Leary. Yensers only real experience as an o-line coach at Kansas and they were 3-36 during his time there. They also only broke 30 points five times in those 36 games and three of them was against non-majors. He's probably a good guy, but the line play isn't close to past standards.

The offense nor QB is very likely to change. Stoops mentality is just keep the offense out there and limit defensive snaps. This team isn’t getting that done, but it doesn’t matter to Stoops. This team only has one chance to change the outcome of the season, and that is speed up the offense to better fit the personnel. He doesn’t want that bc defense will likely have to be back out there too soon. Told my buddy at game that he is willing to go 6-6 to make sure it doesn’t happen. We kill Cal over being stubborn to a ridiculous degree, but this guy sure gives him a run for his money. It’s obvious what needs to change, but it won’t bc it doesn’t fit the philosophy of the HC.

Maybe one day it will become stale enough or enough guys transfer out to bring it about… doubt it though.

This team should be uptempo and no huddle… ours moves at a glacial pace allowing defenses to recover.

Think about the state of the union. Days ago we had our coach publicly humiliate his players by telling the fans that they needed to give more $$ in order to get better players (something everyone most likely already knew)....forget everything else....that in and of itself is a devastating blow to Kentucky.

Seriously, why on earth even bring up $$$ in that situation? It reeks of "I don't have the answer" mentality. That was probably one of the most morale killing comments I've ever heard.

How do you even go back into the locker room before the next game and face the players knowing that you just said that? wow.

media and peer pressure is a bitch but how on earth do you actually say some stupid shit like that in public in front of the entire football nation? i'd love to have an explanation but I don't think it exists.

Rembrandt, thank you for all your thoughts. You do a great job pointing out our teams shortcomings without going off the rails. For those of us that have been avid fans since Charlie Bradshaw, we can'tunderstand the degree to which true UKFB fans blast our players and coaches. I can't believe that any fan would insinuate that our coaches don't care and question their committment to winning. Maybe some changes will take place with players, coaches and schemes to give us an improved chance of better performance, but until then let's take this team as it is (5-2), scream our guts out and win some games beginning with sending UT home with a loss. Can't have dropped balls, 14 penalties, 3 sacks, 10 pressures and expect to win. My son told me, and I assume he is correct, that Missouri had 30 yards offense and scored 18 points in the fourth quarter. Let that soak in!!!!! Also we were ahead 21-20 at the end of three.
If we as fans are not disappointed with our play this season, we maybe are not true UKFB supporters. But with all the horrific crap going on in today's world, I'm going to choose to stay positive for the sport and team I love. Go Cats!

He's not a bad qb; he's a qb that had major surgery and had to learn to throw all over again and hasn't become accurate yet. Our coach just made one of many, many bad decisions in making him our only qb option.

I just wish I could get in a poker game with Stoops. Some of that $9mil would be mine.

I'm not falling for the backup QB talk this year. I don't think Leary has been good at all, but I don't believe for a second a better option is on our bench right now. It is what it is folks.
