BTW, if there's any way you can somehow bet the under on Fouls called on UK this weekend, do it. Put the mortgage on it. Kentucky will finish next game with a much more favorable whistle, almost guaranteed.

Funny enough, we actually DID have less fouls than TAM and less free throws. I do think we got a slightly more favorably shake than what we were getting on the road, if you go by the sheer numbers

But.. I outlined in another thread a few minutes ago, why that is deceiving, especially with the way TAM plays.

So yeah, this really wasn't much better.

According to Matt Jones on his post game radio show he thought the officiating was really good last night. He felt they shouldn't have called either technical and after being asked about it by a caller said the offensive foul on Amari when he was being tackled was a bad call.

This game might not have been a problem.. if it was a home game for TAM.. But based on what we saw Kentucky having to deal with on the road, this should have been much more skewed in our favor (if thats how the SEC wants to play this).. TAM for instance had a good 8-10 points go their way on calls (JRob Technical, the bad Goaltend, the kick to the face on Butler, the Amari call).. and they probably should have been in DEEP foul trouble all 2nd half.

Here's a weird one.. Texas AM has more fouls called on them at HOME versus Alabama, than on the road at Kentucky, just a few nights later. For those that say "Kentucky didn't drive enough to warrant fouls" (lol), then how did TAM foul MORE against an Alabama team that shot 37 three pointers (we shot 27)?
