It’s crazy how many of these players could be so much more but just lack the drive. Good on Maxey for holding him accountable.
Sixers should build around Maxey and McCain. Embiid is who he is at this point. Awesome talent, but I don’t think he’s serious about winning. He’s suffered some bad injury luck but doesn’t really take care of his body.
Philly should trade Embiid now while he still has high value. They'll never win a title with him.
I feel bad for him, they had that team set up for success and now Embiid only wants to play 40 games a year, and they wasted a max contract on another dude who plays 40 games a year and now they can’t even win when both of them play.
Exactly and package George with him, if I was them I’d trade George for Brandon Ingram right now and some picks. They could resign him, get a first round pick, and have cap space to get someone else.

Yes, it the reason I say that is because NO didn’t sign Ingram to an extension, and he doesn’t seem to be in their future plans. The money would be close to working with some additional pieces and he’s young and talented enough to make the Sixers competitive still. Because NBA teams are dumb and they would hope if Zion is healthy that a guy like George could get them to the next level.
All the stars are on the injury report daily as questionable with roster manipulation. I try handicaping nba but this time a year they don't give a shit about winning so they sit out are threatenin to sit out once or twice a week. I'm not one to talk considering I missed work 2day with apparently nothing more than a cough according to all the test.
