Shut Up Jay Bilas

He was right about that out of bounds call
Did I say he got every call wrong ever?

Been watching the guy for years as I’m guessing you have too. He’s very subtle but always paints himself as the definitive expert, and he has an agenda.

Been sick of the guy since 2017 when he spent all day Saturday before selection Sunday calling for Duke to get a one seed, and never even made the case for UK all day.

Guy is a Duke homer who is just slick enough to keep it partially hidden.

But enjoy.

I loved when he insisted Reeves moved his pivot foot then the replay, "oh i guess he dribbled it in between"
That’s the kind of stuff I’m talking about. I could probably find 100+ examples of it through the years. And I was a little heated down the stretch. 😂

It takes a special kind of bias to go to a replay early in the game to try and prove a travel. Also, there were a lot of late whistles in this game, as if the officials were waiting to see if a shot fell. On that Edwards call above it was to stop an easy basket.

I used to like Bilas, now when I find out he’s covering a game, I cringe. He talks way too much in general, but it’s his willingness to look at something he described incorrectly while he’s watching a replay and still claim he was right that did me in with him.

He was bodied up prior to the switch.

That probably makes him a lawyer!

Shulman will give it to him, I like that.

Don't forget his reaction to the obvious body block flagrant 1 at the beginning of the second half.

Even after watching the replay for the first time, he acted like it was nothing. To his credit, when Dan questioned it, he backtracked.

So it took the play by play guy to correct the basketball analyst on something obvious. Great work, Jay.

the difference is this. if it’s a missed call favoring the other team he’ll calmly say “that’s a clean block. i don’t see a foul”. if it’s a missed call favoring uk he’ll say not so calmly, “how can you miss that?”
