Hi. Hopefully this helps.

1. Go here https://io.help.yahoo.com/contact/index?page=contact&locale=en_US&y=PROD_SPORTS_RIVAL#
2. Select "Contact a Yahoo Specialist"
3. Select "Billing"
4. Select "Subscription issues"
5. Select "Chat with a Yahoo specialist" - I've never contacted Yahoo support but the live chat is usually a safer bet than e-mail if you need a fast response.

In the short term - if you used a credit card, you should easily be able to dispute the charge on the bank's website.

Debit cards are sometimes trickier.

Dispute the charge with your credit card company.

He said he needs it back quickly. A dispute doesn't work like that.
I believe if the charge has not posted, the bank can pause the charge and issue a temporary credit pending the outcome of the investigation for the charge.

Yep, Credit cards will give you a conditional credit. If he calls the number, it can happen pretty much immediately. I disputed a charge a few months ago and the case is still open but the charge is in limbo somewhere. That is because the company fought back by telling the CC company that the charge was legit but also told me if I wanted my money back, I would have to get it via my credit card and they were not interested in making it right.

Long story short, I was able to chat the dispute with rivals.com they cancelled the subscription here that I agreed to for 9.95 monthly with the March madness promo, that being said it will take days to post back on my card and not to throw a pity party but on my budget my car is now in the position of being reposes that's why I asked if there was an immediate solution. I think they knew what they were doing by saying how 9.95 and 99.95 can accidentally be made a mistake at my expense and all they can say is sorry. I expected the 9.95 not 99.95 that's a lot in my position.

Also there was not a number to do it swiftly just chat, this is to much, the human element is being taken away were all becoming apart of this matrix and I felt this way before my issue. I'm done venting now I have to take care of my car bill, thanks for all those who helped.

Actually it does, when you dispute a charge it's taken off immediately pending investigation.
Yes and no. If they give it back to you, you are liable to lose it again later. Some companies will give you access to the disputed charge but that doesn't mean anything until the merchant has had time to respond.

I understand this is none of our business. If I were so close to losing possessions due to lack of payment, I'm not sure I would try to squeeze a subscription into that budget. There is so much a free account can do on Rivals. I hope you get this straightened out.

And, to add to that, it is important to document everything. The CC company will take the merchant's word over the consumer. For example, if you rent a van and return it in off hours, take a picture of the odometer reading. If the merchant bills you for excessive mileage and you have no evidence to the contrary, you lose.

And, it is good to correspond via email so you have written evidence to support your case.

I had to have a CC reissued years ago due to rivals refusal to cancel the automatic renewal. I'm not talking about 1 incident, but multiple. After disputing the charge 3 years in a row, I'd had enough. They have a shady billing practice here. That said, I agree you should probably think twice what a rivals subscription is worth considering your tight finances.

or just use amex instead of visa. amex is always customer first.

Damn you guys are cold. This man loves BBN what he has done is not that crazy considering how a lot of our fans act. Don't put a brother down with fatherly advice when he is already down.

Straight up American post?

One time when I lost my house to foreclosure during my 3rd divorce, I was out trying to find a job and there was a super crazy deal on rims at Walmart that I couldn't turn down. I had no car at the time but once I found a job it took care of that problem and I was glad I squeezed myself to the last drop and bought them when I did.

Long story short, sometimes sh*t is just that important. Being that this is UK basketball, I'd sell my two year old to isis if necessary.

There is so much going on in this post that scares me, but rims at Walmart?

I kid I kid.

I guess all of us love the BBN, or we wouldn't be on here. They are simply trying to say, that if you are so financially strapped, that your car is going to be repossessed, Rupp Rafters, which is free, is a great alternative. Priorities, priorities.

Shiny chrome or matte black rims? It makes a difference you know...

Do yourself a favor and dump the cost of the monthly membership. Monthly memberships for a sports site is for people that can toss money away on their hobbies. If money is that tight don't waste it on a sports site...JMO.

In this case I'd say the worst looking crap imaginable and "on the note".

Because nothing says slumamerica like a G scoopin on some financed rims when you've got no job, house, money, or car.
