Serious question, is Barion Brown the best freshman in the country ?

Yes, and beyond that this is the greatest collection of wide receivers we’ve ever had at UK. Barion Brown is the type we’ve always been burned by, but never had on our team. Now we have him and we EFFING blew it at Ole Miss.
Makes this loss hard to swallow knowing that we may never see another compilation of offensive talent at UK like this again

That’s not true. Key is the better jump ball receiver but brown is more explosive and lethal all over the field. Levis has missed a few where he’s wide open too bc he runs by guys like it’s nothing.
Key is great but he isn’t near as explosive
Georgia took zero from the portal thus past cycle. We are not offering NIL deals to attend UGA, Those are going to kids already there. Bama is the team raiding rosters and has 4 offensive starters from the portal.
He has no reason to leave. He is being used the right way and is on one of the top teams in the best conference learning a pro offense.
Also keep in mind he currently only weighs 165 lbs. He won't last at that size if you use him play after play.
The UK fan base continues to suffer from an inferiority complex the team has overcome. The players at UK believe in themselves and their teammates. There is no reason to leave. Unfortunately, a good number of our fans still don't believe top talent would want to be here. It is those fans that embarrass themselves and the program.
I don’t think it’s so much that they don’t wanna be here. Dane Key is a KY fan through and through. If KY didn’t get away from the Eddie gran train and hire Coen and bring in wandale and Levis. Dane Key would not be in Lexington, think Barion is coming to play EG ball?
What happens after Levis graduates? Sure we wanna believe in the bench guys who’ve played 0 min ever here basically, but truth is you’re going to have to go to portal, what if your portal guy is a complete miss (that’s why I’d take a proven winner that played at another place instead of a crap shoot maybe) what if like TW years we just basically can’t throw the football and we have to power run like the EG offense (which we better get a portal RB too) is Barion and Key going to be happy?
It’s not hard to envision a few scenarios where we could backslide a little bit and be in a major rebuild. (Lose QB, all the vets off the D to graduation this year….. Have a questionable O-line ect. And A kid the caliber of Barion wants to win games. Little tampering by Bama to get a all world return man and what will be a pretty damn good receiver if we fall off isn’t out of the room of possibilities and Bama has shown already they will take active happy starters from other teams
If Georgia wanted somebody they can get them though, it mainly Alabama they recruited him at first
You know more than I do so I am going to go off what you say but by the looks of your roster it seems you guys usually get who you want
