If you have a smart TV, the ESPN app is usually available on those tvs. If you have an internet connection, you can watch that way. Just enter your cable or TV provider into the ESPN App and it shouldn't cost you anything.
If you have a TV with HDMI inputs, you can buy a streaming device, like a ROKU (there are multiple roku devices for cheap) or an Amazon Fire cube or streaming stick. If you have wifi, plug your device into power and an HDMI input, and then open the ESPN app and input your cable/TV info into the app and you're in.
If you have a computer or laptop with an HDMI out, you can plug your computer into your TV with an HDMI cable and watch the game on a bigger screen. ESPN has links to their games. You can pull it up that way. You'll want to enter your cable or TV provider for that to be free.
On UK Athletics, you can go to the men's basketball schedule and find the game, and there is a link to watch. Again, you'll need to enter your cable or TV provider for it to be included in what your already pay.
YouTube will usually have some streamer live streaming the game. Go to YouTube and do a search UK men's basketball vs Jackson St and you're in. You can usually cast to a smart TV from YouTube if your phone or laptop is connected to the same wifi as your TV.

WHEN YOU ENTER THE APP AND FIND THE GAME IT TRIES TO MAKE YOU SIGN UP FOR ESPN+ EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE YOUR SERVICE PROVIDER LOGGED IN ALREADY.

very true. i would be trying to get Elon Musk's StarLink if possible. i still see people in town though that have dish or direcTV and it boggles my mind.
It says ESPN+/SEC+ but doesn't always give ME that option so I have to take the long way around. Again its just extra steps. But it is not that simple for everyone. Which is what I have been saying this entire time. Do you all even read or just like hearing the sound of your keyboards.

If you have spectrum, Youtube TV, or DirectTv then you should be able to access it through the ESPN app.
For SOME its as simple as signing in with the provider and selecting the game. For me (maybe its YouTube TV) I have to find the game listed specifically SEC+ or it ignores my provider and tries to get me to sign up for ESPN+
That seems to be the problem for a lot people. Some of the older less tech savvy fans can't navigate it the first time around. But instead of people hearing their actual problem they just assume they cant simply open the app and select the game.

I get ESPN+ for the UFC . It's on there it costs like 5 bucks a month.

I think that a big part of the disconnect here is that some elderly people (and others) aren't set up for streaming. My 82 year old mother for instance has a direct tv satellite dish in the yard and a dtv box on the shelf in front of her tv. Scoff if you must but that's how it is for her and I'd guess millions of others. If I told her to "download the ESPN app" to her TV I might as well say it in Chinese. She lives alone now and watching our games is one of the things she enjoys most. So I took one of my Roku sticks and connected it to her TV, set up on WIFI and logged her in, then wrote down step by step directions of how to change the input, open the app and get the game.
I wish she would just get rid of the box but it's what she knows and old habits die hard for some. Every game day I call to make sure she's good to go. She goes through the steps and streams the game.

Its only elderly. Younger people don't have trouble because we have been using it most of our lives and know the ins and outs. It isn't rocket science for us. But it might as well be for someone who has never used a smart TV/phone. Everyone is acting like you can just think it and it appears on TV. It is extremely rude and inconsiderate to our older fans. Hell my grandparents don't even know what an app is. I had to explain HDMI inputs to them so they could switch between their box, DVD player, and smart TV. I still have to go down there and fix things for them from time to time. But I would never once try to make them feel stupid like so many in these comments have.
I just hope they have it all figured out when they get in their 80s. Better not be asking any young people for advice on their generations technology.

Some younger people can mean well but not recognize they treat it as though every older person is sitting in full Depends and trying to figure out what the smartphone is as well. Truth is usually somewhere closer to the middle.

Nah. I’m just saying that I think the elderly comment every time someone talks about issues with the website isn’t necessarily an accurate depiction. That’s all. I’m not the “you have to agree with me” type of guy. I don’t see the world like that. OP, for a VERY easy and low tech solution you can actually just watch the game on YT. Simply search the words Kentucky vs Jackson State. You'll get a couple of returns but, the one you can use has a guy occasionally commenting over the audio. He's trying to get fans to donate to him for simply live streaming the broadcast. Resolution is probably 480 but, you can watch it on your phone, tablet or simply cast it to your TV if you know how. Costs nothing and you don't have to download another app.
Don't know why YT hasn't kicked the guy off yet but, he's had the last three SEC+ games on his channel.

It took the OP way longer to post this redundant thread than it does for me to log in to watch each the game. 2 seconds and I'm there.
Here is how I understand it. If the game is on sec+ not ESPN + you can get it for free. Go to the ESPN app. It will give you a choice to login with a provider . You then list your provider and MUST also list your password for the provider . It will then send you to a screen with various games . Click on it and you will see it IF it is SEC + . Not ESPN + which you do have to pay extra for .
Yes they are trying to scam you but you can get it for free if it is on SEC+ if you are persistent.
I know several posters have made fun of us technically challenged individuals. I am not computer illiterate , I sit in front of two iMacs , and IPad and iPhone each day doing business . I still found it hard to navigate . Good luck

Because it took me a half an hour and several phone calls to figure it out. The whole process is designed to make you think you need to purchase ESPN + when you don’t have to . It’s consumer fraud pure and simple and UK should not lend its good name to it. The SEC AD’s blew it on this one . All in the name of greed and to abuse the fans that pay their bills . Not good .
