SEC will review the technical foul

O good....our game will be put on a highlight film for officials training in the future on what NOT TO DO...glad that has a 0% of helping our seeding or helping us get to play in Louisville. I'd also like to think that we could get points with the committee for playing without Poythress for what looks like a month but hell will freeze over before they give us any help in that room.

There will be NO apology.
It will be some bulkshet the ref said... It will be his side (fairytale) presented.
No way in hell, he says he is wrong. He might even sprinkle some more "facts" to support his T.
In turn, he will be backed by SEC

Doesn't mean much at this point,it was probably the worst call I have ever seen in terms of what happened vs the impact of the call on the outcome of the game.

If Tyler doesn't chest bump does the rest of what happens ever take place?

Isn't it amazing that college basketball officials aren't graded and held accountable for their performance? It's like this review is an exception to the NCAA's general rule that the officials can do whatever they hell they want without consequence. It's gone on for far too long, and it's entirely unacceptable.

I'm happy that they seem to be acknowledging how terrible it was, but looking at just this one call won't change anything. Each game should be reviewed in its entirety, and the results should be made public. That's the only way to ensure some kind of accountability.

Sadly nothing we can do but move on and hope we don't hurt our seeding any more than we have to. The tournament is ahead and I can't wait. We will be dangerous.

Maybe they can make him kiss Cal's rear end, but I doubt it.

The answer is fairly simple. Adams should be fined the same amount that he was paid for working last night's game. He entirely changed the outcome, so he should suffer the same fate.

If he's upset about it, great. There are plenty of other leagues where he can work. But at least the message will be out there--Pull that BS in our conference, and you won't be compensated.

This is simply putting lipstick on a pig. They protect their own and will find some way to rationalize it. We will continue to see bad officiating until the officials are made to pay a price for their ineptitude.
You are absolutely correct. That official could've simply told Issac, I could T you up, don't do it again. Instead, the quick whistle and T. Absolutely ridiculous. Officiating in all sports anymore is a JOKE!

This is what it is. Go Cats!!

They are simply going to say it is a technical foul by rule. Discretion of the referee is the issue at hand. That's a personal choice by Pat Adams. Referees have the discretionary authority to make the call or overlook it.

Gary Coleman's fat azz needs to be fined at the very least. The two refs standing in front watching knew you don't call a technical for that, then Webster comes from behind and T's him up.
