SEC Tournament (Day 1)

Hopefully NM is not just banking that scjr cannot outscore us.

Brad has a 3.21 ERA over 42 innings. That is some pretty solid work. Not sure what USC will do, but if I am them I would throw Hill against us. Hill is a righty that only gave up 1 run and 1 hit against us before. So that is extremely scary. Still, it was on a day where we had scored 19 runs the day before, so our bats were a bit spent. Should be interesting as usual. Cats need to make 100 percent sure that they win tomorrow though. Deep run helps national seed chances. Early losses mean we're only hosting and may very well mean that we'll be in Louisville if we win our regional.

This game has been crazy. Mizzou up again 8-6 in the bottom of the 4th.

Rain delay in the 6th. Mizzou up 11-7.

SEC is going to have a really tough time getting these games in on schedule with the rain + an extra innings game to start the day.

This is no time to monkey around and get beat the first day if you have any hopes to get a top seed!!

According to Derek, Marshall and Pop will be available for the SEC tourney...... Great news !!
Will be interesting to see how they are both used. Marshall can DH if needed, but Pop is the real question mark. Do you put him into a close game when it's been so long since his last outing or do we try to ease him back in a bit?

Yes, Marshall is good defensively and swings a solid bat, Pop is intriguing in that he may be rusty, or may come out throwing smoke.
