Still games to play with 1 Loss A&M and 1 Loss Texas to still play each other but Ga. done at 6-2. So it looks like Texas or A&M in Championship but probably have Ga.,Tenn,Bama and loser of Texas and A&M all at 6-2. So who is the 6-2 team in Championship? And yes i got Texas beating UK next week..

To me, it should be GA. They've played 5/6 of the 6-2+ teams & are 3-2. No other team played more than 3: TN is 1-2. A&M/OM/TN have each lost to a team not in top 6.

I would assume it would be UGA as well since they beat Texas (assuming Texas finishes 7 and 1).

Will be interesting to see how the committee seeds the sec. I would assume the loser n sec title game will be 2nd amonst sec teams despite potentially picking up a 3rd overall loss.

It's looking like Penn state, notre Dame and Indiana will all finish with 1 loss each. And then osu or Oregon will not get a bye. Will the 3 potential sec at large teams all have to play on the road?

I dont agree with the logic but can definitely see that happening. Lazy by the committee if so as they are just rewarding teams with less losses that most played weaker schedules.

If I understand correctly, the tiebreaker for all those two loss teams is the combined record of their opponents instead of trying to untangle the web of head to head results. There’s still some moving parts, but Alabama comes out ahead of the pack in that as long as they take care of Oklahoma and Auburn and I believe as long as Missouri beats either Mississippi St or Arkansas. Then obviously the Texas/A&M winner would get the other spot as long as they take care of their other games.
