An 8th place finish would be absolutely unacceptable. If that were to happen we would finish the regular season at 20-11. Better win a game or two in the SECT or we would be looking at an 8-9 seed most likely.
You’re failing to take into account that this year’s SEC is not like any other SEC season before. A .500 conference record doesn’t mean the same thing and won’t be seeded the same as in years past.

And, yeah, I think that is a reasonable prediction for us. Not because of anything we’re doing wrong, but simply because the conference is SO friggin stacked this season.

I know the SEC is great this year. But, there is no scenario where UK finishing in 8th place in the SEC should be acceptable to any UK fan.

Big Saturday coming up as most of the SEC top teams have road games: Auburn, Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, and Kentucky. Who survives?

Not even for a 1st year coach who had to put together an entire roster in a month playing in probably the strongest SEC top to bottom in history?

SEC is never going to be easy like it used to be. You better put your big boy pants on and accept that.
I’m not accepting 8th place in the SEC regardless of how tough the SEC is. You can put on candy striped pants and cheer for Indiana at that point

That point per game defense.....
Let's hope for better.

I'm not impressed with your perforMANCE
