If UK and Florida end up with exact same SEC and season record, and no one else ties them, who gets the better seed for the SEC tournament? Both won on road against each other. Not sure what rule breaks the tie?

The following procedure will be used in the following order until the tie is broken:

  1. Won-lost results of head-to-head competition between the two teams.
  2. Won-lost record of the two teams versus the No. 1 seed (and proceeding through the No. 14 seed, if necessary).
  3. Coin flip by the Commissioner.

Florida will lose 2 to 3 more games and finish with 6 or 7 losses. We need to ensure we only finish with 5 and it's a moot point.

I also think sc will end up with 7.

Due to this, it could essentially come down to whether either of us beat Alabama. Florida goes to Bama Wednesday just as an FYI for everyone.

I agree, especially about South Carolina. They are going to pile up losses at the end. Auburn gave them a reality check and I think they are still off kilter from it.

I've said it here for the past week but if we can go 4-0 over these past two weeks, we might be setting up a clash with Tennessee for the SEC regular season title. We're 2-0 through those games so far, but a firm road test at LSU awaits and then we have to beat Bama. But at least Bama is coming to Rupp and we aren't having to go there.

How are we looking for SEC tournament seeding now? What do we need to do to get that double bye and a Friday game?

I'd say 14 and 4 100% get a bye.

13 and 5 probably also almost 100%.

12 and 6...gut tells me we still get a double bye but need SC to finish with 7 losses. Believe we have a tie breaker against a 12 and 6 FL as long as we beat bama.

Less than that and who knows.
